Which puts us at 1-1, as per usual.

Now it gets interesting. Stephen isn't here (I think?), but considering his comments for one of these acts throughout the competition and his rankings for tonight, it's safe to say that the act he's sending home is Johnny Robinson.

David, please tell me I'm not the only one who has a sense of deja vu here. It's all in your hands, send Johnny home and he's gone, send Sharon home and we'll see which of these acts finished lower in the public vote. Please give me a name.

Well this is beginning to feel a little bit like deja-vu. Johnny, you're here again and after some great sing off performances you've always managed to bounce back, however always end up here. Pingu has done his best with you and to be honest I don't know if there is anything that can be done to really push you as a contender and to propel you out of this situation.

Sharon, this is your first time here and I do think you have more to give this competition. I do want to see Nathan push you into taking some more risks and singing something a little more current/ edgier.

I thought both actually sung well in the sing off and again because of that my main driving factor is who has more to give and a better chance of really winning. Therefore with sadness, I do think that it is time to go so the act I'm sending home this evening is Johnny Robinson

Commiserations Pingu

Thanks for saving Sharon David and Stephen (based off rankings)

I should've waited before eliminating Pingu's act until he voted on mine in another game

Commiserations Johnny and Pingu, but happy that Sharon survived.

What an absolute joke.....

Joking. I knew it was coming. Tbh, I don't think anything I could do would save him. I think prejudgements were set on him and people wouldn't adapt to his amazingness.

He is without doubt the hardest act to mentor in this competition, so to get him this far is pretty good....and I think I have set a record in forum games for a number of consecutive bottom 2 appearances?

I actually agree with that and also the pre-judgements of Frankie too

An so, Johnny Robinson leaves the competition with 3 votes against one. Commiserations to Pingu, who loses his first act.

Johnny has been a fighter through and through, surviving not one, not two but THREE consecutive sing-off performances. He's been a beacon of fun in this competition and he will be forever remembered as a true sing-off goddess.

Congratulations to Sharon and Nathan though, who we'll see again later this week.

So do I. Because in some weeks (i.e Week 1) he was nowhere near the bottom of the worst performances, yet he still ended up there.

So, anyone interested in finding out the next theme? Let me warn you, this is one of those weird themes.

If it's weird, I predict it's a theme you've borrowed from me.

So the next theme is an all-new one I randomly thought of the other day. It's called WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE!

This is one of those classic creative themes. Basically you can pick any song by any artist, as long as it relates to the jungle somehow. You could pick a song from Disney's Jungle Book for example, or go with a tropical sounding-song. Even connecting a song to the theme purely through title is fine. Covers are allowed, but you shouldn't need them if you have even a shred of creativity. There are SO many songs that fit this theme, I'm sure you'll all manage. With the winter really kicking in, who doesn't want a trip to a tropical island?

Now, let's pin down a date for the next show. Would Friday or Sunday suit anyone?

I'm happy either day tbh

I am so glad that I'm not on the panel, I'd be tearing my hair out at that new theme.

Yeah, we might not want to get swallowed up by the inevitable uproar caused by Fleur not winning now do we?

We could also do Monday if you'd rather have a whole week to sort out songs.
