Jake that was 100% better than your first performance and for me you've put yourself back in contention. The chorus' were a little heavy for your vocals, however for an overall performance I did enjoy it. Whether it will be enough to make it through it another matter, however you've had mass improvement across the live shows and Steve should be proud of that. Well done.

Emily Middlemas
Emily a good set of songs for you tonight, I think vocally you were much stronger in your first song, however but as an overall set of songs Tom has done you well this evening and I think you're the first act I can be confident in seeing in the final. Well done this evening both girls have seriously upped their game on the previous week and for me tonight's result is going to interesting as is the order that the acts finish in the final. It's a very strong set of acts this year and I think every mentor has done well this series!

Jake man, what did I tell you? We had a killer performance coming up and dammit man, you killed it to the highest degree! The song was an incredible stunner of a choice on our part and you fought for everything you could and you turned into a almighty awesome moment. You have been an incredible act to mentor with, but I do not want this to end. Please vote for Jake, people!

Emily Middlemas

Emily girl, if I'm honest, I much preferred your first performance much more compared to this second one. The song was an okay choice and I liked it, but I don't think it suited you that well. The performance was nice too, but it lacked a lot of what I saw from your first performance, so this one is a let down. I'm not sure if you will make the final, but we'll see.

Like I said to Emily, even though it was predictable because Say Lou Lou are used sooooooooo much for quirky girls, I still really liked that for you. It was without doubt your most entertaining performance in the entire competition and like Emily, you have just come out of nowhere tonight. Last week, I actually think you deserved a place in the bottom 2. however, you have turned it around. Well done!!!!

For me, that was your best performance of the series. I have had the artist saved since the start of the competition and I am so happy I finally get to use it. That really was just perfect for you and it showed off your vocals and harmonizes brilliantly. It also let you have so much fun, whilst still being serious if you know what I mean. I was so excited to mentor you at the start of the competition and every week you have come out and proved me why I was so excited. You have gained more and more fans every week and you have proved all the haters that they were wrong. You are one of the best acts I have ever mentored and I pray that you get through to the final!!!

Sydnee Carter

Sydnee, you managed to pull off an even better second song and I loved it. The style of the song was bit of a gamble as your voice isn't quite suited to this kind of music, but you made it work in your favour. I now think it's gonna be a very close run on who makes the final, but I'll say this. Your mentor has done very well to get you this far, so good job on tonight's show.

To think that long ago, you weren't given a chance to be mentored, your mentor has made you incredible pop stars! An outstanding performance to close the show and I LOVED IT!

Sydnee Carter
Sydnee if I'm honest I wasn't a massive fan of that song choice for you and I felt the vocals were a little too swamped by the music to really sell the song. Your first song was great out of the two tonight, however this falls just a little short for me. I think you can still make the final though as from last weeks vote reveal you seem to have a fairly dedicated fan base here. Good luck for the results this evening.

Girls, this has been your best night in the competition for me and I can now fully see you going through to the final. Two distinct performances; both showing off your great vocals and this showing off your style. Pingu has been fantastic this series with his songs and indeed his attention to the groups and whilst you have had a bottom 2 wobble, you've come back stronger than before. Well done tonight girls - besides Reigan you've been my favourite act across to the two performances.

Anyone think it's gonna be the Tom and Pingu show in next week's Final?

Voted. Absolutely adored Emily (and not just because she sang a Broods song - if you love Broods you should totally vote for them on NTA soon ) and Blonde Electra tonight. Also loved Sydnee's performances (preferred her first) and YTY (again, first song was better). Reigan and Jake were good too; ranking was very tough this show.
