Kim, I think Doris might be the more likely of those two.......

Trouble is I'm trying to remember a snatch of a song I heard whilst ordering coffee about 6 or 7 years ago..........I already had several 'Ella' albums but not one with that track on. I knew she'd recorded it though so after hearing what I thought was her version I went and bought the Christmas album.........and was disappointed that the song seemed a bit happy-clappy and not slow and soulful and sad.......

I prefer both the versions above to Ella's.........

Yes, the song should be a bit melancholy, not jazzy. Doris wins this one (aside from Judy, of course)!
