Beatles - Revolver
The Velvet Underground & Nico
Byrds - Sweetheart of the Rodeo
Grateful Dead - Workingman's Dead
Neil Young - On the Beach

There's albums I play just as much as these but as I've had these the longest then they're the most played.

well, for the last 6 months, according to my LastFM, its

Fleetwood Mac - Say You Will and Tango in the Night
Foster the People - Supermodel
Haim - Days are Gone
Kate Bush - Hounds of Love
Lana Del Rey - Ultraviolence
La Roux - Trouble in Paradise
Little Dragon - Nabuma Rubberband
and Sleigh Bells - Bitter Rivals

I'm not much of an album player though since I got Spotify - I much prefer making a mixed playlist of tracks. Like, a band whose albums I really like is Red Hot Chili Peppers but I don't actually own any of their albums; although I listen to their music all the time.

Erasure - The Innocents
Counting Crows - August & Everything After

The Wonder Stuff - Never Loved Elvis
The Levellers - Levelling The Land
The Beloved - Happiness

Just a sample but many more.

Ah, people mentioning the likes of the Stuffies and PWEI on here has reminded me that another couple of albums I played to death in the 90s were 30 Something and 101 Damnations by Carter USM.

And I also forgot to put The World Won't Listen and Hatful of Hollow by The Smiths on my earlier list. I listened to those compilations more than the studio albums.

Born To Run
Rumours
Astral Weeks (the most beautiful, affecting album ever made)

And if the last 6 months continues into the next few years, Ultraviolence may join that list at some point. A masterpiece.

Astral Weeks is one of my favourite albums too. I wIll check up on Ultraviolence on the strength of that.

Another album I played a lot which slipped my mind earlier is Dusk by The The.

Google Play Music says I've listened to the entire Tycho - Dive album 139 times.

But I bet if it could go back in time and keep track of my music listening back in school, it would find I've listened to albums like Lightning Seeds - Cloudcuckooland, Erasure - Chorus and Ned's Atomic Dustbin - God Fodder more.
