Nadia did surprisingly well in the trial votes. I'm guessing quite a few people wanted to see what she was made of/had to offer, but by the time it got to the vote offs, it was probably too late and they had given up on her.

I have a major problem with this.

Had they put Vicki in the bottom two, she may have got a boost in votes the next night and squeezed into the final six, whilst Edwina may have fallen short had her fans not thought she was in trouble.

I'd have no problem with it if it really was 'in no particular order' EVERY night, and the other person named wasn't actually the bottom two, but the fact that every series consists of only one or two "fake" bottom twos makes me question their intentions.

I agree but she said he was hugely popular and likeable in his sport.

I was happy for him to win too although I would have preferred Mel. Everyone I have spoken to was happy he won although some of them also liked Mel.

Since it's only percentages, it doesn't actually show that she lost any support.

I agree, I think it's down to the voters of the evicted campmates voting for others and not Mel.

Yes that's true, at least she has boasted her profile in the UK. I'm actually suprised it was so close between them as Kendra was more promient in the highlights show but it's nice to know that she wasn't far behind the others in the voting.

Yes, it seems likely that a lot of Jimmy's support was transferred to Foggy.

What makes you think that? Titchy is far more famous in the UK tham Kendra is.

But if he had survived then he might have gone shortly afterwards due to the public still feeling he was safe.
The wakeup call of him leaving can only be seen in hindsight. There would be nothing to warn the public to vote for him a day or two later.

I am quite surprised that Jake never even topped the vote at all during the elimination process considering how popular he appeared on this forum and in general.

Mel thanks to her behaviour in the final week was bound to lose support from the public and its no surprise that it actually happened she could have possibly done better if she didn't act the way she did towards the end.

I am also pleasantly surprised at how popular foggy was he topped the vote consistently apart from the first elimination where Mel got more votes, I thought that it would have been very close between him and Jake but looking at the results foggy is obviously the clear winner. I guess the public liked him more than i expected

What makes you think that? He is a rapper. How many Brits are into rap music. Without looking it up do you know the name any of his "songs"? His name is spelt Tinchy.

Foggy's popularity is truly baffling.

Apart from the first vote off (where Mel got the biggest vote), Foggy lead right to the end. Clear winner.

So it wasn't the 'banter' that got Jimmy kicked out first. Seems he was just not liked

Perhaps to you but not to lots of us. I thought he was a great camp mate - fearless in the trials, kind to the others and often very funny. He had my vote from the start.

Not mine! I couldn't stand Jimmy and I voted for Foggy from the time I went off Mel which was quite early on - before the eliminations started at any rate,

Tinchy is very mainstream most people who are interested in pop music would have heard of him, not just people who like rap. I can name a few of his songs but that's irrelevant, he's a well known name. Very few people would have heard of Kendra.

I agree - I have heard of Tinchy although as an old woman am not keen on rap. I had never heard of Kendra before IAC. I liked Tinchy but he was far too quiet to ever be considered a winner - as was Nadia although I liked her too.

Well, he had a UK number 1 hit in 2009 (entitled coincidentally "Number 1"), which is evidence of a broad based appeal. I think he's much better known in this country than Kendra is. (I for one had never heard of her before this edition of I'm a Celebrity aired.)
