I watched the end of the snooker final in HD on iPlayer last Sunday and it seemed that the framerate was a little slow. I've also noticed the same thing on Saturday Kitchen.

It is obviously more pronounced on the snooker though as the balls seemed to move a little jerkily across the screen.

Most things I watch on iPlayer seem fine.

I have a 12 mbps connection and things like Amazon Prime live HD streaming work flawlessly.

I understand that iPlayer normally uses 25 fps for the HD streaming - is that always the case ??
