iPhone 6 Plus - Is it too big?
Does anyone here have the iPhone 6 Plus? And how do you find it? Is it too big or does it just take a bit of getting used to?
I'm trying to decide between this and the Sony Xperia Z3

I don't find it too big. However I'm used to using Galaxy notes so there was no adjustment period.

I bought an iPhone 6, but not the plus version. As someone who previously had a 5S the 6 was enough of an upgrade for me, and is a little easier to handle and suits *me* better. The 6 Plus is a better device in terms of camera and screen though.

I went from a 4.7 inch phone to the 6 Plus. No problems for me. I've been carrying it around in a pair of shorts for a week whilst on holiday, and despite a bit of paranoia that it would fall out of my pocket it's been fine.

I'm trying to decide between this and the Sony Xperia Z3 ![]() I keep the phone in a case as it's a slippery "little" sucker. My favourite two things: The screen and the longevity of the battery, both relative to the 5. I don't find it too large. I have small hands. I've had to change a few old habits...no more walking along the road one-handed with the 6 plus. I've had it for about 5 weeks now, and I won't be going back. |

I find it a little big but the iPhone 6 is too small. I have been using an iPhone 6 plus for 3 months but I decided to try out the 6. Its a lot easier to use but I feel its just that bit too small. If Apple had done a 5 or 5.1 inch phone I would have had that. The 6 is going back for a refund and I am going back to my plus. While its a little awkward the screen is awesome.

For me it's probably the biggest I'd ever want a phone to be. I look at the iPhone 6 and think it's the perfect size to hold and then I look at the 6+ full hd screen and landscape view and think it's perfect.
Physically it feels big but usability wise it feels perfect. I'm very happy with it but i do think it needs a case as it is slippy |

I love the 6 Plus, and have been surprised at how quickly I got used to it after years of having a 4 then 5. It's crazy how small older iPhones seem now.

I too went for the 6 Plus. It's horses for courses. What one person likes another may not.
The best thing to do is to pop into a store and compare the models side by side. I did that recently and whilst the 6 is more than capable I preferred the larger screen and also OIS the Plus comes with. |

It is heartening to see so many people enjoying the 6 plus. Particularly those who have come from the 4 & 5. We told you so.
Of course everyone has there own ideal size of phone, some will want to stick with a 4 inch screen and others will want a 6 inch screen. It is good that each of the main platforms now have a choice, although I wonder if Apple will keep the 4 inch size going forward. Probably not. One point to make. For those saying that making a call on a big phone like the 6 plus, Note or Lumia 1520 “looks ridiculous” – well have they looked at a fixed line office type phone recently? The handsets stretch from your ear to your mouth. Do you look ridiculous on them? OP, if you want to try the 6 plus just go to an Apple store and buy one. You can use it for a fortnight (someone can confirm the details) then return it if you don’t like it or do like it and want to get it on a contract. |

I had a 6+ at lunch and loved it, but I returned it within the 14 day returns period and swapped it for a 6.
The reason was that I had a few too many 'bar of soap' moments for my liking. Ironically, this may have been in part due to the case I had on it (a Spigen Tough Armor) which made it even larger and harder to hold. I also tried a Slim Armor, but that had a similar effect. Although it's a thinner case, it has quite a shiny back, which can make for more 'bar of soap' moments. One thing I will say, is that the phone is gorgeous. That screen makes for a fantastic viewing experience, but I was forever having issues holding it. ![]() Maybe a better case would solve the issue, but for me it was a no go (even though I loved the phone!). HTH. |

You get used to the size very quickly and fits in my pocket ok.
The battery life is excellent and the camera is top notch for a mobile phone. For me it replaces my iPad as well. |

I'm trying to decide between this and the Sony Xperia Z3 ![]() As for someone who has always used a big phone it can take some adjustment at first but if you can you will be glad you did. |

I can't believe Calico_Pie hasn't been in here to tell you your opinions are incorrect and let you know how you really feel about any Apple products you might own or be thinking about buying.
