I was just wondering if they have ever had a competition, so when the series ends, if you win you can take a tour of the house. Or after its finished why dont they open it publicly for people to go and have a look? Sure it would get some people in surely!

I think they have done in the past. I'm sure whowever won got to go behind, in the camera run. There was also another competition where the winner got to ask a h/m to come to the diary room.

They had one recently when Davina and Dermot presented Radio Aid.

Didn't they have a competition at the end of BB5 where you could take 10 friends to the house for a party? I also remember reading they hire the house out for corporate events and parties.

yes the do and yes that did happen it also happened on teen big brother at the end you could take some friends in for the night

The Australian BB is filmed in part of a theme park, and when the show isn't on its an attraction you can walk around... I think...

I did hear from someone who worked for a large insurance company that hired the house at the end of 2004 for a Quiz Night Final. Dermot and Brian were the celeb guests for the evening.
