Unfortunately the 64gb is not in stock. 16gb is far too small . I really fancy a One Plus but the buying process is pants.

The OPO has exactly the same screen as the iPhone 6 plus which gets so much praise so it has some decent quality parts even at that low price. But the absolute best thing about the OPO is that Cyanogen inc do the firmware. CyanogenMod is the best skin (or version if you like) for Android, although Motorola are now doing good things. I just hope that Cyanogen inc's deal with Micromax in India does not mean that it is removed by OP worldwide.

I'll roll out what I normally say about the one plus one. A really good phone for the price, but in the UK, buyer beware. It does not support the 800Mhz LTE band, so you may well be disappointed if you plan to use it on 4G!

I was considering of buying one of these when I had a invite, before I bought my Note 3, but then realised they want the payment only by Paypal, as I wanted to pay by credit card to cover myself so it was a no no to start with also I heard from others that if anything goes wrong with the phone it has to be shipped to China at customer's expense!

That was also no no for me, as no after sale support locally but apart from that the phone seems to have very good specs for the money but until they provide support in the UK and accept credit card I won't consider it.

For the price to feature ratio it probably ranks up there amongst the Nexus 5, however the reported issues with screens and repairs is enough to put most people off. There was no need for the invite system they could have produced a shit load and the units would have sold, plus some of their PR campaigns bordered on stupidity and offensive.

I think most people have had the good sense to avoid said handset and manufacturer, also for a similar price of the 64GB you can get an LG G3 with a QHD screen.

There have also been suggestions that Cyaongenmod maybe about to discontinue support for the handset due to the supply constraints.

Because they haven't started using their 800Mhz spectrum yet. When they do, you won't be able to access it. With EE that shouldn't be too much of an issue. But if you decide to move to O2, Vodafone or Three then you'll want a new phone really.

I would agree about avoiding it, for all the points you've made.

It definitely offers value for money, but after owning a Oppo Find 7a which developed a fault, I would rather stick to a manufacturer which can resolve any fault that occurs locally.

The support from Oppo was shockingly slow, and I wasn't going to risk it and ended up making a chargeback via paypal and I had to return the device to china at my own cost.

Most of the complaints about One Plus I've seen relate to the slow response to support and or the supposed lack of it (One Plus appears to be a subsidiary of Oppo so not surprising). Which is a real shame as I bet the OPO is a fantastic phone.
