Going by the edits, everyone but Roisin seems tainted.

Katie and Mark were the last serious competition I could see for her. Now she's gone and he's been given the "last warning" kiss of death.

Bianca: so much focus was put on Exclusivitygate in the board game task that she's clearly not intended to win.

Solomon: the little camera time he's had has been devoted to him mispronouncing words and chatting up laydeez.

Daniel: is Daniel.

Maybe Mark could still just about snatch it, but only if Roisin's business plan is crap. The other three seem like write-offs.

Think Bianca had upped her game the last few weeks she could be a darkhorse

Mark could win but his edit is making him look like a horrible person

Daniel is useless

Soloman has gotten worse and worse and just comes across as a sexiest pig now

I dont think Rosion has been that amazing to be honest, she has made mistakes as well, but compared to the other she seems like a star

*shrug* It all just depends on the business plan. If it's garbage and she makes the same mistake Neil did and refuses to budge, then she's toast, regardless of the edit she's been given.

For me it should be between Roisin and Mark, and by some margin although the standard competition as it were was perhaps even lower than usual.

Unfortunately in this format it appears it's more down to who has the most attractive business plan, so who knows.

Agreed, Roisin seems the only credible winner. Bianca could make a decent runner up but dont think she will win (not because of the coach tours or exclusivity mistakes but because she didn't seem that great as PM)

Bianca is a bit of a dark horse. She could clinch it.

Eh, people with much better edits than she have still lost to people with pretty terrible ones.

In the old fornat she would have walked this. However, we have seen tonight that Lord Sugar doesn't want to move into the food industry. Think that the final will be between someone who has made some real howlers (even as winning PM) and probably the most untrustworthy candidate of all series. So yeah, the meltdown will be complete next week.

Yes, that's what I'm saying - all but her have a prominent black mark.

Last year, at this stage, Leah, Luisa and Neil had all been presented as contenders. Possibly even Jordan, at a push, before the interviews turned him into a gibbering blancmange. This year there's really only one and a half candidates.

It's hard to tell at this point, I think the interviews will really individualize each candidate and give a better insight to who has a good chance of actually winning. Right now Roisin seems to be the most professional, but I wouldn't say she's at the front.

I'm just worried because the only other two candidates to have so completely dominated their respective years were Helen and Stella, the former of whom didn't actually win, and the latter... well, we all know how that ended up.

Don't think she's that credible either to be honest.

Roisin looks like the clear winner going by her overall performance on the shows.
But as we know that counts for little if Sugar doesn't like her business plan.

So on that basis anyone could win. Just depends on the business idea and then if they pitch it in a convincing manner.

As a viewer though I find it hard to see anyone other than Roisin winning.

I remember way back to series one and many on here, myself included, felt that Miriam looked like she might win. I was as surprised as anyone when she went out when she did.

I thought Katie would have won. I think Rosin will win with Solomon 2nd

Yeah, I feel like the business idea is the deciding factor now, meaning that anyone could win (even Daniel if his idea is killer). Roisins idea could be awful which would give her no chance of winning. For some reason I have a good feeling about Bianca despite her notable errors on the show.

The edit is for our entertainment value. It's totally irrelevant to the result as there's no public vote.

She has been shaky occasionally. I don't think she's ahead of the rest. Solomon is the one who stands out in that he is clearly out of his depth compared to the other four.

No credible reason for Bianca to win though on her task performances. She's almost invisible - competent when not having howlers . What she has done is pass on her branding tasks - which is her line of business. But the viewers won't think she has done anything much to win., will remember her howlers, and what she does is vague. .

Roisin just won on the task on her project. But there was nothing to say if he thinks her proposal is any more interesting than Katie's - or she's any better qualified for it. Roisin, at least, now clearly has the best record, now Katie has gone.

If you argue for Bianca, you might as well argue for Solomon - who may have a pointless, lucrative , internet venture that appeals to Lord Sugar

In an earlier show wasn't it revealed that Solomon's business plan was some sort of internet venture?

Roisin hasn't dominated. Katie was ahead on points for winning as PM, making far more astute business observations throughout , and guiding her her powerful males. Katie produced a bland drink playing safe one week, , but Roisin found fault with their drinks name, when it was their main selling feature, on the same task. Roisin has now caught up with a PM win, and Katie is now out.


Mark has a terrible record. He's never won as PM , He's only been on a winning team for 3 weeks . His sales record is blown by his failure on this week's task. He's looking like Ruth - with a similar record, but less substance selling, and more questions about manipulating the process.

Bianca's record is the same as Roisin's. She just has more howlers,and less impression made.

Solomon's is a bit weaker, and his PM win was marginal and probably due to an unfair playing field over Ella - who was slated.

Tom won with a worse record than Mark. Leah won doing nothing more than Roisin. Ricky won because his opposition had nothing safe, or politically safe, to offer. Which is it this year?

Indeed. The key word is lucrative. Whether it contributes anything positive to humanity or is necessary, or long term, is another matter. (I say this a s someone who has been followed around the net for the last week by an advert for Amazon skeletons - which is making someone money, for annoying me)

In the preview it seems that it is about clothes (underwear to be precise), I remember a thread a while back about this (so, he went ahead with it anyway or he won), but that might be an on-line thing??

And there was something about underwear (male bikinis was it?) in the excerpts from next week?

Okay, so with my business hat on ...

I wouldn't read too much into either win/loss record or success as a PM. The key now is more about the business plans and the credibility of each candidate.

Roisin is credible but I'm wary about her business plan - ready meals is a very competitive market, and while there's room for niche brands up against the big boys, she will need to have a very compelling proposition. It would be very easy to sink £250k into this and for it to sink without trace.

Solomon has been portrayed as a bit superficial in recent weeks, but he could well have a great technology-related business plan. He's also sold very well throughout the process, something which seems to have been overlooked by some people.

Daniel might just have a great business plan, but he's just not credible as a business partner. He constantly overpromises and underdelivers, and that makes him difficult to trust in business.

I have serious reservations about Mark's business plan, which he claimed would make £1m in profit in year 1. Sugar hinted at his concerns in the boardroom - there are lots of fledgling online marketing platforms out there, so he will have to have something blindingly difficult. And, like Roisin, it would be easy to sink a lot of money into this and lose it all quickly, so he represents a high risk.

Bianca had a bad middle few weeks but has bounced back strongly. I don't know what her business plan is, but if she's stuck to what she knows she might have something worthwhile and interesting. Impossible to gauge right now until we know more.
