Roughly 21 years of memories there. I consider myself very lucky to have experienced all that. I was talking about my life down there recently with a good mate of mine (where I live now) and he basically said 'that's amazing' what you did and he's been around the block a few times.
People pay serious money for a 2 week holiday in that area, house prices are extortionate, and I lived there virtually free of charge for all that time, thanks to the bank of mum and dad. I even had my own boat, paid for mostly by my dad.
I took the area for granted a bit when I was there, as it was 'normal' for me, but I do appreciate it a lot more now, now that I've left.
