US news media all reading the same script
I was aware of these before but never really gave them much thought. With mainstream US media outlets recently going on the attack against their non-mainstream media rivals, labeling them as "fake news" they're relevant. It shows that much of mainstream news in the US is just people reading from a script supplied to them by someone else. Growing up, you'd always have the picture of a news organisation investigating their own stories, discovering things, sleuthing, fact checking etc. and then informing the public with their big scoop.
Don't want to go too far down the conspiracy side of things, but then there's the question of who is writing these scripts and if they have integrity.
