I really liked Linda's interview on DS.

I hope Sylvie sticks around.

Brilliant actress. Found her portrayal of Alzheimer's incredibly believable.

I think she has played a dementia sufferer very well! One thing she did remember is that she didn't have a son...

I was really impressed. She's either been around someone who's had Alzheimers or she's done a lot of research because she was spot on. If someone's a flirt/nasty before they develop the disease chances are they'll stay that way which can be incredibly difficult to deal with. Her venom towards Shirley tonight was palpable, what with her nastiness in general and her cutting remarks about her looks we can partly see why Shirley turned out the way she did.

Bravo Linda Marlowe. EE really have got it spot on with their castings.

Linda said she has some nice scenes with Ann Mitchell who she starred with in Widows.

She joins a cast of stellar actors and she really impressed me and has already put her name as one of the best actors in the show

I am really impressed with her. Her portrayal as someone with alzheimers was excellent. She's a really interesting, and slightly alarming, addition to the family.

She was captivating in her portrayal of the character. Already one of the best on the show.

Alzheimers is so cruel... moments of lucidity in an awful fog.

I was very mixed on her performance
Her accent was dodgy. If i didn't know she was australian before looking her up weeks ago, i would of guessed by her accent in that episode alone.

Question: Does Sylvie remember Mick was born and that he was Shirley's or does she not remember Mick existing at all, just Shirley and Tina?

She was brought back to England when she was 10.

She's going to be a hard one to read because she plays on her illness at times. She did seem genuinely confused about who he is last night.

Sylvie was there when he was born. They had to pretend Sylvie was pregnant the whole time Shirley was to cover it up. As her baby was due soon, Aunt Babe, Sylvie and Shirley went on "holiday" and Aunt babe and Sylvie helped deliver her baby in the caravan. The cover story was Sylvie's waters broke while on holiday.

Yeah, I know she knew at the time but I was wondering with her Alzheimer's does she remember Mick being born now? She doesn't remember having a son, because she didn't, of course. But does she remember Shirley having a son, ie. Mick, now?
