Absolutely agree. Bring in contemporary and next they'll be wanting ballet - just imagine the female celebs trying to learn to dance en-pointe in a few days; to say nothing of the male guys in tights ....... Mind you, it might let Darcey earn her judges fee for once!!

I love So You Think You Can Dance and when contemporary is danced well it can be really beautiful to watch, but I don't want to see it on Strictly. Strictly is a ballroom and latin programme and should stay that way. The pros are trained in latin and ballroom and the standard of contemporary would most likely be poorer.
