I have bought a Movie from Amazon instant video but i cant work out how to download it to my PC.

is it possible to do that or can you only download onto tablets for offline viewing?

i paid £11.99 for the movie and its mine to keep so not part of the monthly cost.

I was looking into that myself yesterday.

I think in the UK the only official way is if you have a Fire tablet or Fire phone, then you can download to them for offline viewing, but not to PC. (think it also works on ipads etc?)

In the US they offer (or used to offer) a Windows program for PC called 'Amazon Unbox', that will download and play Instant Videos, but it's not offered in the UK for some reason.

There might be unofficial ways of doing it, but I haven't discovered them yet.

Seems stupid, as it'll put people off from buying rather than renting, but there you are.
