Thread in dubious taste alert! (This isn't meant to be a political thread.)

OK, you have to pick 10 songs for endless repeat that you think will annoy the hell out of your detainees.

Here's mine.

Man, I feel like a woman - Shania Twain
Believe - Cher
Two Princes - Spin Doctors
Mmm mmm mmm mmm - Crash Test Dummies
Love Is All Around - Wet Wet Wet
Everything I Do - Bryan Adams
Amazed - Lonestar
Baby Can I Hold You - Boyzone
My Heart Will Go On - Celine Dion
Cotton Eye Joe - Rednex

I'd have them singing like canaries within an hour.

Definitely this, there could not be anything more torturous that listening to one of their albums on repeat.

Jane Macdonald
Shitely Bassey
Aretha Franklin

All those artists and a few more I can't think of at the moment, have all released unlistenable new albums this year I've had to endure by my partner seriously I'm not slating them as artists but i really want to know why most older artists like these culprits just release album after album of songs that have been overdone it gets boring and tedious.

If I wanted to torture someone with music, I'd probably just play "Goodbye Sam, Hello Samantha" by Cliff Richard on an endless loop.

If you tied me to a chair and started playing panpipe music, I'd be telling you whatever you want to know by the end of the first song.

I don't like the following:

Most songs by Simply Red. Although there is one song I like and Fairground is OK. I hate Stars and Babies
Most songs by The Beautiful South
That song from the Carphone advert. The lyrics are alright but it's just the man's voice.
That other song for Eatin Take away app. I've heard it before and I think it may be called Lovely.

I've never heard 'Metal Machine Music', but given what I have heard about it, is side 3 particularly worse than 1, 2 or 4?

Definitely worse than 1 and 2, but critics are divided about side 4.
Some thought it a blessing
