I did miss her tonight especially in the first part of the show as they were all pretty poor.

Simon Webbe is worried he will face a backlash from Pixie Lott fans.

Very much a case of no Pixie, no party tonight.

These Pixie fans are like Scottish nationalists not agreeing with the result and carrying on the argument.

vodka_drinker, judging by the number of times you mention Pixie on this forum (and none of it constructive) you are obviously the one with the problem. And now you're even attacking her singing career. She writes her own songs. Quite talented for someone who has been referred to as an airhead and brainless on this forum. Incidentally, what special talent do you have? And constantly using the word 'whinging' isn't really a talent, is it?

People are bound to ask, What would have happened if Pixie had been there (in the semi).

It was the quarter finals anyone could've been in the dance off. Popularity has nothing to do with it.

Yes the nature of this thread is baiting, wrought of boredom and confirming the lack of entertainment provided by the semi final.

I was never a big fan, but I have to admit the show lost something without her tonight. A few people I know have mentioned that.

Also this thing about her not being popular.. From the information we have all we know is that she didn't receive enough votes last week, for whatever reason. We don't have enough information to reach a conclusion as to her overall popularity as we don't have access to all the other weeks votes which would enable us to see a pattern.

The SF did feel flat tonight but I doubt that Pixie could have 'saved' it. She was a decent dancer but the public just didn't vote for her and Len decided to save the person who was better in the DO. Unfortunately I think Simon will face a backlash tonight, I fully expect him to be in the DO again.

It would be easier to get over it if everyone this week had been wow. Sadly too many of them were lack lustre and you just know that a Trixie American Smooth (in particular) would have been fantastic. Don't feel Simon showed his worth tonight .. especially with his Samba.

We're free to say and think what we like. Austin woz still robbed all this time later so compared to that this is fresh pain.

Abby Clancy was in the dance off last year and she won. Does that mean she wasn't popular either?

I'm not sure if your seeing what I wrote. I said there isn't enough information to determine if she was popular or not overall. All we know is she didn't get enough votes last week and we can only speculate as to why. That one result isn't enough to determine how popular she was.

That's my point people are assuming that she wasn't popular because she was in the dance off which is pure rubbish because it was her 1 and only time. For all we know she could've lost by 1 or 2 points.

Being put in the dance off doesn't mean that your unpopular people also may have thought she was safe and decided not to vote.

vodka_drinker, Xassy, fizzycat, donna255, SeasideLady, Dragonlady25 - a selection of the members who are clearly not Pixie fans judging by their comments. There has to be a connection there somewhere?

My thoughts exactly! This was the others' chance to come out fighting and try to get Pixie's fans to back them instead - even a few extra votes could be crucial at this stage. Last time Simon was in the dance-off, he came back with some of his best performances of the series.

Look around the forum, a LOT of people were underwhelmed by tonight's show.

She certainly could, her sales have been pretty bad of late. Same goes for Simon/Blue!

I wonder how many of those complaining actually picked up the phone and voted for her?

She's gone, get over it.”

Well you certainly haven't .

These types of posts are worse .

What's the point of this whinging thread ?

Of course it wasn't that bad. The celebs were just feeling their nerves in the first half but came through much better in the second. For me it was understandable -- a combination of having to learn two full routiines for the first time combined with residual shakiness from last week's bottom two/DO drama. When an aknowledged frontrunner gets the boot in the DO in the quarter finals, it's bound to have everyone who's left a bit spooked.

Well given the atrocity that was his first dance he deserves to be in the dance off backlash or not.

I just watched the results show from last week back....and Len was smiling when Pixie ended up in the DO. It was the bit where Tess was interviewing her infront of the judges. He must have felt vindicated with how the vote went
