I didn't miss Pixie at all. IMO Caroline is easily as good if not better than her.

All joking apart, I really did miss him the week after he went - he really made me smile. It was lovely seeing him on ITT last week!

Caroline has been my pick from day one dance one. But even I can see that the show itself lost something special with Pixie going out. There are just too many people really a little bit heartbroken over it to be a nothing.

She was good, but I didn't phone so I cant complain. I find Jake far more entertaining, not the best dancer but the most watchable

I don't know how the OP can think a thread moaning about people moaning is any more interesting than the original moaning. At least the people complaining about Pixie leaving are on topic.
This thread is just an attempt to stir and bait.

There have been a number of baiting threads. I guess the actual show is no longer providing enough interesting debate and FMs are bored.

Ditto to everything you said.

Actually it was two judges, not just Len, who voted for Simon !

She was stiff last week, arrogantly thinking she'd got it 'in the bag' and deserved to go - end of (as they say)

I wasn't joking.

Judy turned out to be a really nice person, very popular with the whole cast and a great sense of humour.

Tim was the most gentlemanly gentleman they've ever had on the show. His leaving speech set the standard.

Neither of them was on the show to resurrect a flagging career or to give their careers a boost. Just worked as best they could and thoroughly enjoyed themselves without any tears or OTT emotion.

Oddly enough she has never come across as the slightest bit arrogant to me. Very down-to-earth and uncelebrity-like, as a matter of fact. Are you sure you're talking about the same person?

Anyone heartbroken over a Saturday night entertainment show needs to seek help.

Arrogant????? I get she's not everyone's cup of tea but arrogant she was definately not imho. What exactly about her demenear was arrogant? I thought she was gracious in defeat and the fact that it was her who approached Simon rather than the other way around spoke volumes.

Caroline on ITT described her emphatically as

You see, this 'entertainment show' thing keeps cropping up again and again.

Yeah, but what does she know compared with the character assassins on here? After all, she has only actually met the girl. How does that count?

For me she was the best in show this year but I've said in other threads that I think the widely held perception that she went before her time actually makes Pixie a more memorable contestant.

I mean I think she has ✰ quality anyway and Strictly will have done her 'triple threat' credentials no harm at all... but it's probably better she 'woz robbed' rather than finishing 2nd or 3rd or 4th in the final (which I expected her to do).

I would say your talking about Jake and not Pixie. I've always seen him like that with all the stupid thumbs up business every week but would never describe Pixie like that she has never been arrogant at all.

Pixie was a nice girl and a reasonable dancer, but her leg's were always strange and in the end it caught up with her...

Surprised anybody missed her in the Semi's to be honest.

I can't see any arrogance in either of them!

Anyway Pixie and Jake have both been robbed now!

Thanks for this excellent post. Perhaps the word heartbroken is a bit OTT, but you're basically spot on. Whilst I appreciate not everyone likes Pixie, to simply dismiss the number of people who felt her exit made the show poorer as a few fans being silly is unfair.

Pixie was lovely, seemed genuine and all that, but at times she couldn't stop a pig in a passage.

I definitely think that she thought that she was safe. You could tell by her face.

I'd sooner watch Pixie's ineffable legs all day than Kevin's hyperactive grasshopper impressions or Caroline 'emoting' on the dancefloor.
