If Jake escapes, I think it's pretty much a given that Mark and Simon will be in the dance-off, with Mark going.

If Jake does not escape, I think he must be in the dance-off with Mark as otherwise Mark would have to beat him in the public vote, which seems unlikely. That's a more difficult one to call.

The shocker would be Caroline v Frankie in the dance off, Frankie going.

I do not think that is mathematically possible.

Semi Final – Combined Scores
Caroline Flack & Pasha Kovalev – 75 5
Frankie Bridge & Kevin Clifton – 72. 4
Simon Webbe & Kristina Rihanoff – 68. 3
Mark Wright & Karen Hauer - 66. 2
Jake Woods & Janette Manrara – 61. 1

If Jake got the most viewer votes he gets five points taking him to six, Caroline if was bottom, ( and she wouldn't be bottom) with one is also at six.

If Frankie got the lowest viewer vote she would go to five, But then Caroline would get at least two so at least seven.

But Caroline could be in the dance off with the second lowest public vote if the public switch round the first four with the same fifth. Again, yes, unlikely.

eg. with the priority public vote first :

5 + 2 = 7
4 + 3 = 7
3 + 4 = 7
2+ 5 = 7
1 + 1 = 2

Strictly Come Dancing star Simon Webbe is worried he will face a backlash from Pixie Lott fans.

I think the combos that could put Caroline in the DO are possible (all combinations of DO are perfectly possible) - they're just unlikely. This example requires Mark and Simon to be in the top two with the public and Jake to be bottom.

I doubt it to any real extent. A lot here, including myself, said last week they liked Simon and would probably switch to him.

Most folk are not so chidishly spiteful. It wasn't his fault.

Chin up, Simon !

I'm tentatively leaning towards a Jake vs Mark dance-off now...

Judging by the 'who got your votes tonight thread' Caroline and Pasha could be in danger with lots of people not voting for them because they viewed as being safe. Grrrr

I hope Simon gets through, poor sod. He deserves it.

If Jake is safe does it mean he's getting the most public votes?
