I am quite bored lol... Not really keen on either performers, and this show is dragging on more than it should.

I agree. I'm normally glued to an XF final but am about to take my dogs out for a walk and will get back just in time to see who's going to be eliminated tonight. Not interested in any of the finalists this year.

Yep, it's boring. Tulisa isn't helping matters and there seems to be more VTs than singing.

Anyway, I usually watch on catch-up so skip all the carp and trout

The show has lost it's epic feel the finals used to have like in 2008.

That's the problem it's contrived and predictable. They need to make it surprising and unpredictable.

It also drags on too much. They need some jokes & small talk that isn't just 'vote vote' it's all too serious.

Strangely, the final (and the whole show in general) used to have much more atmosphere for me in the show's "simpler days", before the the days of arena auditions, Sunday shows, 16 in the live shows and the final being held in another venue. Basically, the days that ended after 2008.

I still watch and enjoy, but I used to feel much more excitement towards the whole show. Sometimes, less is definitely more.

It's so flat.

The X Factor final used to be "event television". Everyone was talking about.

Now, nobody really seems to care or even admit to watching it most of the time.

I haven't even bothered, especially with Tulisa back. I might watch it on iPlayer later.

Only been 10 or so worthwhile minutes of the hour and a half it's been on. What was the point of Meghan Trainor doing all about that bass ? Poor performance, old song...point ?

Tullisha? At least she give an honest opinion not like Mel B who changes her mind each week

Personally always find the finale like that as i just find they always drag it out way too much all i care about is the results not the guests etc

All the duets were quite boring. It's turned out to be an anti-climax.

The X factor 'losers/rejects' have injected some energy into the show
