ETA: Yeah, disagree that he's Robert's bitch. I've been a fan of Aaron since he first arrived with Danny playing him and to be perfectly honest, it's nice to see Aaron have a passionate relationship for once.

I loved him and Jackson but they were like mates with their behaviour around each other, so it's really refreshing to see some sexual awakening in him because up until now, it was massively lacking.

Danny's been fantastic so far, I've been really proud of him as a longtime Aaron fan.

I agree with this entirely. They're showing a man who has become confident in his own sexuality and basically at the moment there isn't much liking between them, but he wants him! I'm not sure that Aaron is the cheating type though so think his feelings over Chrissie will start to get the better of him...

Ok then he's Robert's whore, we all know how it will end Aaron in tears and Robert proving he only cares about himself.

As much as I love Aaron I can't wait for Lawrence to ruin Aaron and leave him with nothing but his tears.

Yeah and that's why, aside from my shallow feelings on the whole thing, I'm really enjoying it. The guy who plays Robert is a great partner for Danny to act up alongside because he's such a good actor, himself. He plays the villain really well, and he plays a man who knows what he wants really well, too.

But with Danny, yeah, he's portraying Aaron as someone who is confident with himself whereas back with Jackson, he was timid and new to the whole thing, it was his first relationship with a man. Now, with Robert, he's had two relationships and god knows how many hookups (Chas's implication that he's a dirty stop out before he went out for his "call-out" to Robert), so it's really interesting and a whole new side to him.

And these are my formal thoughts on it all.


ETA: Personally, I prefer this version of Aaron over the one who looked like he hated kissing his own boyfriend.

At least he acts like he's attracted to men now.

As a new viewer, I can't really comment on Aaron's history, only what I see now.

Exactly. What's the problem with him having a fling? He doesn't have a problem with it. I don't see him being a "bitch" or a "whore" I just see that he's in lust and having a bit of fun. He isn't letting Robert treat him like a mug. He trashed his car and was arsey about the money.

For what it's worth I don't think Aaron is in any imminent danger of being heartbroken, he is just getting his end away with a guy he doesn't actually particulalry like. There are no feelings there.

As much as I love Aaron I would quite like to see this play out with him monumentally ****ing Robert over. Let's not forget he can be a bastard himself when he wants to be.
