Yeah and that's why, aside from my shallow feelings on the whole thing, I'm really enjoying it. The guy who plays Robert is a great partner for Danny to act up alongside because he's such a good actor, himself. He plays the villain really well, and he plays a man who knows what he wants really well, too.
But with Danny, yeah, he's portraying Aaron as someone who is confident with himself whereas back with Jackson, he was timid and new to the whole thing, it was his first relationship with a man. Now, with Robert, he's had two relationships and god knows how many hookups (Chas's implication that he's a dirty stop out before he went out for his "call-out" to Robert), so it's really interesting and a whole new side to him.
And these are my formal thoughts on it all.
ETA: Personally, I prefer this version of Aaron over the one who looked like he hated kissing his own boyfriend.
At least he acts like he's attracted to men now.
