Saying that I thought all the Jackson stuff was quite poor (I rewatched recently and it didn't get better). Partly the actors, partly the writing. It was all quite cold even before the accident. But and this is a big but - the coming out stuff - particularly the scenes with Paddy were really fantastic.

Yeah, the coming out scenes with Paddy are probably my favourite scenes Aaron has ever done, and the courtroom scenes were also really good.

I always liked Aaron and Jackson but on reflection I realise that it was probably only because I like Aaron.

I liked them a bit, but more because I wanted to like them and I liked Marc Silcock from his performance in Hollyoaks as Eli but Aaron/Jackson wasn't well written. It was barely a romance beside the odd peck.

ETA: Saying that, I'm a Robert fan. I'm used to having unpopular opinions.

I always thought that their were hardly any kisses mainly because the 2 actors didn't get along, which saddened me as I did ship Aaron & Jackson

Emmerdale is very enjoyable though.

Ross is the worst robber ever. He always gets caught.

So pretty and oh so very useless.

I've heard great things since the new producer took over. I may give it a try again. I watched it a few years back but couldn't keep up with all my soaps.

Emmerdale is really a great soap.

Mainly because even when there's depressing stuff they have solid comedy characters. Kerry is my favourite, but Nicola is a close second.

Queen Chrissie is fabulous.


ETA: Oh, and Ross is lovely.

If you can, Ayla, you should watch his stuff with Donna. It's a fantastic storyline. Very sad.

But yes I'm all for the Aaron/Robert affair. I'm not only excited but also fully prepared for any kind of ending they might have, good or bad. Emmerdale has done a really good job with it all so far.

And I'm also so in love with Robert already (I've liked Aaron since his first stint), I've caught myself up with his entire back story and every episode he's been in since he came back. I swore I'd never do this to myself again but I guess I must like pain...

Loving it. They have insane chemistry!!

And yes I saw that earlier, I'm glad he goes to Aaron but considering that he is also close to Diane and Victoria, I dont think Aaron is going to share much of the same opinion on the situation, which won't end well. Looks like their relationship is gonna be pretty bumpy well up into the new year.

Plus, I personally thought they should of melted the ring down and given the pair of them one instead of just giving the whole lot to Andy. It just fuels Robert's obsession with the fact so that Andy's the favourite!
