They sounded good together though, which is more than you can say for Ben and Ed.

Don't see how he is being sabotaged. He and Ella just slayed that. He's been great all night.

That is besides the point.. Ella is not even in the same rank as Ed Sheeran in terms of fame.. I much prefer Ella, but it really feels like Andrea got the short end of the stick

People are not going to care about how good it sounds, its all about talking points with who performed with who. Fanbases is a huge influence

I thought this thread was going to mention the fact that Dermot's mic seems to fail whenever Andrea is interviewed....

I thought it was actually one of Andrea's better performances. At last he can sign without shouting down half the song!

Shes the ot one with his range. Who would you have picked.?

On the positive side, his first performance came across a lot better than Fleur's mess and possibly shaded Ben's jaunt round his comfort zone.

Ella is hardly Ed Sheeran, but it wasn't a bad one by X-Factor duet standards.

They definitely want him out tonight, but he could pull a shock out of the cake tin.

I agree about fleur she didn't impress me. The other two did.

Anyone who has more than 805k followers on twitter. I know it sounds shallow, but at this point in the competition, people rarely care about the quality of the performance

I think he did the best on the duets.

Pretty embarrassing yes. I couldn't believe it. It was a great performance and all but really, an X Factor reject who has just reappeared on the scene as his big duet performer? Seriously disappointed.

For all the money they've thrown into this final you'd expect massive acts who actually fit in with the singer, bet Andreas hadn't even heard of her till now.

Actually I thought he was better tonight than most nights.

I thought he sang the duet brilliantly with Ella. The song really suited his voice and good to see him singing something a bit more uptempo and contemporary for a change. (He did well with Sia's song Chandelier the other week).
She is not a global mega star admittedly but I think most people would agree it is a pretty good song and I would hope that people would vote based on the performance rather than who contestant is singing with.,

Well she's better known than Labrinth and of the 3 guests she was the best actual performer.

Perhaps his mentor saw how he was being 'set up' to fail?
