It may well be that a number of candidates have benefited considerably through appearing on The Apprentice but we obviously never hear more from them so in pure TV work and therefore still on our screens who do you think had done the best ?

Although certainly not every ones cup of tea I have always - and still do - like Luisa and furthermore I thought she was unlucky not to win. She is a good looking and highly intelligent woman and she still has a successful business of her own.

Although Big Brother certainly does not now draw large audience I feel that she is excellent on the Big Bother spin off show and I would not at all be surprised if she does nout oust Emma Willis at some point.

Whether she does or not I am certain she will pop up somewhere on TV soon because she has all that TV producers look for - brains and looks.

Yes I would not argue with that but I also think that there is a lot more to come from Luisa too - who also has a gob on her !

Saira Khan and Ruth Badger have probably done a slightly better job of getting a steady paycheck than Luisa. Kate Walsh had a cushy gig for a while, too, not that it lasted. Pattern emerging. Be a woman, be a runner-up.

Raef did well in presenting roles for a couple of years. James from all the way back in S1's also had his share of TV work, though I think he's focused more on radio.

Jennifer Maguire from Series 4 has had quite a successful television career in Ireland. Stuart Baggs pops up on our screens from time to time.

May well be a lot in that - I said in a earlier post that, in my opinion, over the years I have always felt that in general women have far more savvy than men.

Stuart was on Come Dine With Me recently, coming across a lot better than he did on the show, IMO.

I think you are right.

As I mentioned in my thread I was not suggesting that Luisa was the only one, or the "best" - there have indeed be a number of others. I used Luisa has a example because she is currently on TV and because I think there is a lot more to come from her.

But we will see.

She's never had her own series has she? She's done I'm a Celebrity and several drop-ins, but nothing of her own, unless I have missed it. Saira Khan has had two series of her own (children's; no idea what the viewing figures are) as well as the usual drop-ins. Luisa's just starting out, but since she seems nicer than Hopkins, I hope she does better overall.

Yes that's the point I was making when I used Luisa as an example in my thread and although Luisa is not behind the door in upsetting a few people, as we all know, the plain fact is that she is a highly intelligent woman, clever, and attractive. Perfect for a TV producer and if she does does not stay in her current role at BB I feel sure she will pop up on TV somewhere.

There you have the advantage over me as I refuse to contribute to the corrupt Murdoch empire through purchasing any of their services.

Saira's had the longest career and it adds up to a lot of hours all over the channels. Kate has possibly done most hours from doing a daily show.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6dFH_w-YOI But she's now gone back to business. Michelle has a weekly news commentary spot on Sky News. and she's used on specialist subjects by the BBC and ITV too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IjZI4Ur7ai4

Luisa has done a lot with CBB. Luisa is marketable because she says what she thinks, and has pretty good judgement, and looks good .

And then there's Katie who says what she thinks, or what she thinks will get her attention, and......

She hasn't had her own series, but she's still getting mainstream attention 8 years later. Longevity is a lot harder to achieve and is what everybody looking for a career in the media is (self-evidently) after.

She only manages this by being ''controversial'' and winding everyone up with her ''opinions''

How they manage it isn't the question that's been asked. The question is who has had the most television work out of the series and the answer, certainly as far as longevity goes, is Katie Hopkins.

How do you measure most? Most hours, biggest shows, or most impact. or biggest audience? Michelle is on C4 week in and week-out , and she's done spots on morning TV and the news too. She even did one reality TV show. Kate did a daily show on C5 which clocked up TV hours. Mercifully Katie hasn't ever appeared weekly, let alone daily - except for a short stint on IAC. .

I'd say that's up to whoever wants the question answered. The metric I specifically answered was that of longevity. It's a known quantity. I don't have figures for any of the other metrics you mention (and I don't know what criteria you'd use to measure which were the "biggest shows"), but if you do then please share.

I'm not suggesting that what I've said should be the only answer. I'm just saying that if the metric being used to measure it is longevity, then the answer is Katie.

Michelle was on one series earlier than Katie . Saira was on children's tV soon after her outing on Apprentice series 1 I think, and was on ITV prime time last week or so. She's got a long list of other appearances too http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1877487/?...iki/Saira_Khan

Biggest is something to do with audience figures and impact - you could argue that IAC is a bigger show than anything on C4 oi 5, but the BBC1 news might be considered bigger. Obviously appearing on a show, with two men and a dog only viewing, 1000 times would be an odd claim to fame,

I really don't think so. If Luisa wanted a real career, she has made some monumentally bad choices. She can't be that intelligent if she chooses to strip off at every opportunity, thinking this will give her the exposure she needs to kick start her career. Her credibility has plummeted.

Ruth Badger had a show but it severely flopped and rightly so, it was embarrassing and awful. Her credentials were not strong enough to be a business guru and her particular brand of fear and intimidation didn't go down well with the viewers.

Katie is doing well as a professional troll and has carved out a niche for herself. It wouldn't be my choice, but I guess she knows what she's good at and sticks to it.

Saira has done really well. She had her own apprentice style kids show and she co presents the Martin Lewis money saving programme. I think she is a good presenter and may have a longer term future in Tv.

Saira perhaps doesn't have the tabloid exposure of people like Luisa and Katie, but I think she's probably had the most successful media 'career' so far. Depends how you measure it though. If it's column inches Hopkins wins by a country mile.
