I really don't like the fact that Len gets the deciding vote

Think he's generally made the right choice when he's made it - although I'm still slightly upset that he sent Thom home so early (although we kept Simon in then, so maybe he knows a wee bit more than me.)

I think Jake should have chosen his VW. It wasn't great, but it was a safer option.

Get rid of Len I say!”

I agree 100%. Get rid of the old ****.

I thought Jake really upped his game in the dance off.

I think it's the perfect was to decide and I also agree with his choice this week and last week, he got it right both times for me

OK, we'll get rid of Len, leaving three judges, but who will take charge? No, sorry, we must keep Len with his final vote.

Of course we could get rid of all 4 judges and leave it to the GBP.

Hang on though, can they be trusted after not voting for Pixie last week?

OK then we'll get rid of the judges and the GBP. Brilliant!!

Oh hang on...................................................

Based on the dance off, Jake was better and should have stayed.

I loved Jake and am sorry he has gone but Mark did deserve to stay based on the dance off. If it was based on previous performances, then Jake should have stayed. But it wasn't so he didn't.

What I meant was replace Len as Head Judge with CRH. Then add another new judge to the panel (Ian Waite for example)

Ian would be a great judge. He should replace Len as head judge.

With the judges I always come back to the issue of consistency.

In my view Mark is the better dancer overall and was better in that DO. So I didn't disagree with Len's casting vote. However it seems to me that the judges previously made allowances for Jake's lack of technique and gave him bonus marks for performance (particularly in the Latin dances) YET changed that policy in the SF.

Sorry, I wasn't picking on any individual comment, I was just trying to see if there were any way everyone could be happy. Obviously, I never thought of Ian, but he has his detractors too.

Just trying to lighten the mood here!! Silly me!!

That's a matter of opinion. Only a revelation of the public vote would have given a fair outcome.

That wouldn't make any difference. The issue is whether the head judge's decision should be used in this way.

I'd rather it was a public vote opinion and not just the opinion of Len Goodman. It was a decision made simply to ensure that either Caroline or Frankie wins

For me, Len has made the right decision each time his vote's been needed this series. If there has to be a dance-off, then a deciding vote makes sense - I always think X-Factor is a bit silly to have a sing-off if all the judges are going to do is go to deadlock and take it back to the results of the public vote.

By far the bigger problem is Cha Cha being allowed outside of the first two or three weeks. It's an awful dance that has successfully taken down Thom, Pixie and Jake!

Mark has been in the dance off several times so his chances of winning next weekend must be very slim.

First dance off for Jake, his fans may have thought he was safe and didn't bother to vote. He's probably more of a threat to Franke and Caroline so I do think it was tactical by Len.

It would be funny if Simon won. Make it happen.

I agreed - I read the spoiler and took Jake going well as I like Mark as well, but IMO he was better in the dance-off and should have been kept!

To me though, there's a bigger issue here than Pixie or Jake themselves. It bugs the hell out of me how we are told that we are choosing who is in OUR final - when in reality the decision is being made by one person, not even four! How on earth is that fair? Poor Bruno must be feeling rather redundant as well as he keeps being overruled!

BIB but the public had had their say-they hadn't voted for him so he ended up in the DO.

Not entirely correct, Jake would have had to top the vote to have avoided the DO. He may have had a huge number of votes.

Jake may not have been in the bottom 2 with the public though, remember.

I think this whole Head Judge thing is a load of nonsense anyway. We only need three judges, then we would always get a majority decision which would prevent these outcomes and save the BBC a small fortune.

Why? Are you a bookie by any chance? It is just that Len has voted out the overall fav. to win the show 2 weeks in a row!
