When do the judges advise of their choice?

My guesses from an earlier thread:
Caroline & Pasha - AS as judges' choice, Charleston as couples' choice
Frankie & Kevin - Paso as judges' choice, Tango as couples' choice
Mark & Karen - Samba as judges' choice, Charleston as couples' choice
Simon & Kristina - Salsa as judges' choice, AT as couples' choice

I think you're probably pretty spot on, although I'm hoping the judges will choose waltz or jive for Simon rather than salsa

I'd like to see:

Frankie & Kevin- Judges-Paso Doble- an early dance was amazing could improve and get 10's instead of just a Donny 10
Couple- Foxtrot- to Daydream believer was sweet.
Caroline & Pasha- judges- redo the Amercian Smooth where she tripped to see if can perfect
Coupler: Charleston- showstopper
Simon& Christina- Argentine Tango
Judges-quickstep- real showstopper with Holywood pzazz
Mark: Judges- Waltz- great in the top and tails- classy
Couple: samba/jive

The pros were presumably told just after the results show so they can plan training.

My guesses are in another thread and I did them this morning so I can't remember, but I'd love to see the judges give Frankie her Paso Doble - she could really polish that up to excellence.

Caroline's judges' choice is a no-brainer: American Smooth (especially as presumably C&P have chosen Charleston for their favourite dance given she loves it so much)

Simon's and Mark's judges' choices are difficult to predict, though I think for their favourite dances Simon is bound to do AT and Mark possibly Jive.

What I would like...

Caroline - American Smooth / Charleston (or Jive)
Frankie - Viennese Waltz / Paso Doble
Mark - Waltz / Samba
Simon - Quickstep (or Argentine Tango) / Salsa

I suspect there will be a discussion where they end up doing at least one ballroom and one latin in terms of the couple and judge choices.

I would actually rather they save the showdance for the end, it might incentivise couples to produce slightly better ones than I feel we have had for a while. I wonder how much impact those have had on finalist eliminations?

I would love the Jive for Mark and Karen. That was a real wow dance and the footwork was spectacular. I have been rewatching all their dances and the jive and charleston were my favourites.

I would take a bet they will not know judges choice until tomorrow and have been working on showdance today

Is this confirmed or predictions?

Predictions, although I'm fairly sure Simon's and Mark's favourite routines were hinted at on ITT in the event they should make it to the final, so I'd pencil those two in.

For the show dance for Caroline and Pasha I would love to see a Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers number - Heaven I'm In Heaven I can imagine Pasha in tie and tails and Caroline in a floaty 30s/40s dress.

But I expect it will be something else.

Caroline says her showdance is very APT and beautiful!!! What does that mean??

I think Frankie and Kevin will want to do Tango from Wicked but not quite sure how that would work out for make up and getting changed etc.... It wouldn’t be the same without the full costume and make up.

Think Simon should do a ballroom number as well as his Argentine Tango, after all it’s basically his ballroom technique that has made him stand out the last couple of weeks.

Mark should do his Charleston

Without a doubt Caroline should do American Smooth, either her choice or judges. She will want closure on it, will want to do it well.

So if the couples/judges choose a dance which was one with lots of backing dancers - do we have them back for the final dances? Or do they adjust the routine??

That's what I was thinking. Wonder if they might go with the paso instead for that reason - which would be a shame as I loved the tango.

I hope they do it without the backing dancers. I don't like them. It spoils the dances for me. Hope we find out tonight on SCD Take 2 which dances they will be doing in the final.
