As the programme has finished, the result is no longer a spoiler. If people didn't watch then it is their choice to come in here and discover the result. How long do you want the result to be kept secret? A couple of hours, days, a week?

WHY? The results show has finished, so if people then go on their computer and read these threads, they'll know the result already. How can you have a spoiler whne the result has been on TV ?

In reply to 'logopolis'', your comment about Simon's arrogance and self satisfaction is exactly how I would have described Mark Wright!!
I am very happy that Simon and Mark are through to the final. I would like to see one of them win (Simon is my favourite) but not sure that will happen. Neither of them were that great to start but have improved massively over the weeks.
I don't think Simon being in the dance off 3 times necessarily means he is not popular with the public. Some weeks people may have thought he was safe and/or voted for someone who seemed less safe. Also lots of people don't vote until this late in the show.
I have wanted Simon to get through from the beginning but never voted from him until last night when I voted online and by phone. I also got my husband and sister to vote for him. Quite a few of my friends also support him and only voted for the first time last night

I never get the talk of certain contestants being 'arrogant' on this forum. None of the people this year have come across as that and they all on the whole seem genuienly nice people but on year you see people being called insincere, in love with themselves etc.
Maybe I'm just a horrific judge of character but I think they all seem quite likable.

I agree. I have loved Simon for awhile but didn't start voting until after his waltz.

Agreed. Jake simply hasn't progressed.
I think if Mark had chosen the Viennese Waltz, it wouldn't even have been a close decision.
But yes - two "right" decisions by Len in as many weeks. At least IMHO!
Also very pleased to see Mark and Karen in the final, he has improved so much! Like SImon too but find Kristina too much imo!

The great thing about this series has been that it has been way too close to call it. I think Frankie is going to be third... don't know the order of the others.

Simon is my winner and I love that the public have also taken to him.
Did anyone here know that Mark had never danced before he did strictly? Never evah apparently! He and the producers kept that quite didn't they! He could barely walk before he did strictly. Such a miraculous transformation. Oh and all those scurrilous rumours that he spent 10 years at Sylvia Young have been put to rest by the Daily Mail. Apparently he just sat in a chair the whole time he was there

Has Mark done anything memorable that a lot of people (not his fans) want to see again in the final? I'm really struggling to think of anything he's done that made me even mildly interested.

Yeah I suppose it was a memorable one... In the same way a train wreck.
Pretty bad that he's in the final really, he's gone from bad to competantish without actually producing a great dance, unlike the other finalists, oh and pixie and Jake for that matter.

Totally agree, he certainly is NOT arrogant and he always talks about how much they all support each other... he seems like a genuinely nice guy. I think he was a little shy at first and now his confidence has grown and his dancing ability has grown fantastically, he has come out of his shell. I love him

I think a lot of people will think this way, also I can see Mark picking up a lot of votes from the younger xfactor viewers who only really watch the scd final.
Caroline will be getting all my votes but I am glad Simon and even Mark have made it to the final, they have both worked hard and both Karen and Kristina have been great teachers.
