Just one more week to go. This too shall pass.

He was the worst dancer, rightly gone. No doubt half the people here were telling people to "get over" Pixie's elimination in spite of dancing talent... Same message right back!

A final without Pixie and Jake is likely to be a bit of an anti-climax. Fingers crossed that I'm wrong,

Jake was only robbed by his feet not actually doing what his brain might have wanted them to do

I voted for frankie but come in peace!!
For what its worth, I have said on here that some of jake's dances...the charleston, the tango..were as memorable as any this series. Also, he was in ONE dance off...like pixie...yet mark and the admittedly more dance-trained simon have been in SIX between them! That doesn't seem fair, and len said that BOTH dances lacked content in the dance -off...so why eject the more memorable jake from the final??

Could that be because he was the only REAL non dancer left in the show?

I found some of the tricks fun, like the "K-Walk" sequences during the cha cha cha.

I loved Jake, but he wasn't final material because his ballroom was not great.

The funny thing is that Strictly 2014 will probably be remembered as producing the final in which the most competent dancer (Pixie) and showman (Jake) were absent unless the four finalists dramatically up their game on Saturday. Fingers crossed.

And please Len, do not, not even under pain of death, utter the phrase:

Winner, winner, chicken dinner

Mark is no better than. Jake IMO, maybe slightly behind him in fact.
I think mark got through because he has improved much more and because he is more attractive.

and Mark is in the finals because of his Rumba?

No ..it was time for him to go.

He only really had 1 good dance which was , was it the Salsa or Mambo, can't remember exactly, but only because that dance was full of physically gimmicky steps.

Jake's partner really showed her lack of experience in choreographing Latin dances & even Ballroom. Her choreography always end up with her doing at least 90% of the routine with her either being swung around the floor or her legs around Jake's torso or his neck. She is just pretty useless!

Another thing, she was useless too in addressing from the start many weaknesses of Jake & instead she mainly focus on her choreography. which were just awful....like I said lack of experience overall.

I think Jake would have been a better dancer with someone like Natalie or even Ola.

I guess Len just about made the right decisions about Pixie and Jake, but the most entertaining final would have included both of them, the best dancer and the best showman. Of course Simon and Mark might produce something special but I am not expecting it.

100% disagree with you.

In fewer words, I loved her choreography and Janette made Jake shine.

That's typical of the world these days. No one's safe.

I heard the lead guy was later seen heading into the nearby Farmfoods!

I thought they were both great. Wish they could both have gone through - but I like the other finalists, too! I have to say, I think Janette has been a brilliant partner for Jake.

Mark is in final because of Karen crying because Len was critical of her choreography

Mark is in the final because his dance off was better than Jake's "one trick pony" dance off
