Does Kristina shout "Yes" in triumph? Not that she' s been announced early too many times in order to upset others, on the occasions she' s not been in the dance off.
I repeat, don' t mind anyone being pleased or relieved.

Kevin & Karen have the unfortunate privilege of being some peoples chosen whipping boys due to their BTF/JG connections. Some people see them as the embodiment of everything they don't personally like about the show right now.

It's ridiculous how personal some get to so I'm not surprised when people get so low as to bash their relationship. It happened last year too - I remember Karen kissed him after a dance and she was all but called a flaunting floozy for it so I'm not shocked at all here. God forbid they be in a loving, mutually supportive relationship and want each other to do well.

If Kevin sobbing tonight (or more correctly last night) was a one off, then fine, but it isn't. We had him being told to comfort Karen when she was upset, we have had his manic reactions when getting through each single week, all of which add up to too much KFG.

I don't give a monkies about who he is going out with.

So he's emotional, I don't understand the need to diss the pros, the show is supposed to be about the celebs dancing.

Some comments here are criticism of one thing he has done or said, not diatribes of hatred.

In what way, and on which planet, is he to blame for Claudia asking him to comfort his fiancee?

Not just Kevin, but Joanne too, who seems to have fallen foul on here because she so happens to be Kevin's sister, We didn't really get much of a chance to see her as a dancer or person this year. How can people possibly say they dislike her without knowing much about her?

Now, don't be rational, you'll be accused of snobbery or some such

The OP was a clear diss to his personal life and relationship with Karen. That's why many of us are saying that the dislike is going too far and some FM are crossing boundaries.

Anightlikethis, as Scout says, it is actually Burn the Floor (which is a theatre dance show which a lot of the Strictly pros have been in, Kevin and Karen being two of them)

As for Kevin, I like him and I voted for him and Frankie.

I like OTT Kevin and I also like the fact that he riles this forum up

This comment is funny in an irrational, OTT thread about Kevin's private, personal life.

Actually my OP was a diss at his famewhore-ishness and love of the limelight and the fact that he has missed an opportunity to propose in front of millions instead of a couple of thousand. I attacked his character not his personal life, get it right

You want to kick him because he has 'Annoyed' you this year.. What would you want to do if he had kicked a puppy, send him to the CIA for 'Special Treatment'?

His proposal is his personal life.

And talking about irrational, OTT, hate filled posts, I'm quoting one right now.

When do you separate a person's character from his personal life? I rather think a person's character is very personal.

I dislike many of the things which BTF/the JG connection has come to be shorthand for - excessive props, endless theming, silly costumes, inappropriate music not chosen by the pros, contemporary dance to the exclusion of ballroom technique - but I don't see the Cliftons as the embodiment of those issues. On the contrary, they are better trained ballroom dancers than many of the other newer additions and Kevin, in particular, generally choreographs very traditionally amidst all the theming.

Ah yes, but he hasn't kicked any puppies and you still wanted to kick him with boots on. I find that rather alarming.
