Precisely. Well said.
It is people trying to find sticks to beat the opposition to their preferred favourite with.
Analysis to the enth degree of every reaction to every circumstance of every opposing pro and celeb in order to find something to slate them for in the vain hope other people will buy into it and vote a certain way.
Yes I see peoples petty, childish, pathetic little game being played out and laugh in the face of it.
A is smug and B is fake and C is a judges fave and D is overly competitive and E is too full of him/herself and F is annoying and G is overbearing and H is a ringer etc etc etc.
Yes yes I have read it all before and its as much pointless drivel now as it ever was.
To think of all the accusations of pros and celebs being overly competitive and too full of themselves makes my sides split with laughter bearing in mind the lengths people will go to rubbish those celebs and pros that might pose a threat to their own fave winning. But that is not in the least taking it too seriously and being overly competitive at all presumably.
And these same people then try and lecture others about it being a light entertainment show rather than a dance competition. Unbelievable temerity and hypocrisy.
Bottom line is to take this show too seriously is a mistake.
I learnt that lesson a long time ago. Unfortunately it is not one heeded universally.
