Ben's or Fleur's? They're both dull dull dull.

Why not give her a funky upbeat song that is radio friendly? Argh

I think Ben was best. Not really her song.

I like. Prefer Ben's version though.

If Fleur wins can Ben's version go on the B side ?

This is the worst winners single in XF history, imo.

Were going to look back in history over this period and see such a depressing list of Xmas number ones

Oooo no, When You Believe in 2007 was easily the worst.

Nah, Skyscraper was a seriously rubbish song choice that just wasn't suited to Sam Bailey.

Something I Need isn't a brilliant song but, imo, it's better than Skyscraper. That said, I've yet to hear either version so it probably is a snoozefest in which case it'll be perfect for Ben.

I hate the boring build up, almost like talking, not singing.

Wouldn't be both hilarious and incredible if Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars beat Ben Haenow to the Xmas #1?

Remember, Uptown Funk will have a streaming sales advantage whilst I doubt Ben Haenow's song is going to rocket up the Spotify chart.

100% agreed on that. Much worse than Skyscraper which is still low down the list.

Why do X Factor winners in other countries get to release original songs as their winners singles?

I liked it. When sung by Ben.

Not suited to Fleur and yet again a rubbish winners song almost as bad as The Climb. It just amazes me how they can drag this out so long. It should have been all on one show on Saturday

None of the other songs have won an Oscar

Why are winners songs always so flipping boring? Who chooses the song? The song was more suited to Ben's voice tonight. I don't mind who wins, both are good but I think Fleur has the xfactor

It is a bit naff. The Fleur version is the definition of forgettable, Ben's is slightly better. But its a really uninspired and boring choice.

The general criteria I think is it has to be 'safe'. Middle of the road.

Leona sang 'A Moment Like This' better than Ray

Joe sang 'The Climb' better than Olly

'When You Believe' was sung better by Leon even though Rhydian technically was the better singer.

They should all have an individual song to suit each act.

What a shame Andrea didn't get chance to sing I'd have liked to hear the full version of it.

Andreas' winning single was going to be a cover of I Didn't Know My Own Strength by Whitney Houston.
