I'm a Fleur fan and I'm delighted she didn't win

She won't be tied into a restrictive contract and will be allowed to have more control over the music she puts out.

Well done Fleur, can't wait to see what you do next.

i'm disappointed but she didn't win but i knew she wouldn't , she will have the last laugh next year when Ben isn't around & Fleur's being successful

It's the best result for her. She made it to the very end and has all the exposure she needs, and isn't singing an awful winners song.

She'll still be signed by Syco (or another Sony label) so it won't make much difference to be honest.

I agree. Her first single will be what she wants it to be

There is a massive gap for an artist like her in the UK. The only way is up!

Exactly this! Simon will give Fleur a contract anyway. But the winner never does well apart from Leona Lewis.

Simon will be seeing the pound signs with both of them and somebody will give Andrea a contract even if Simon doesn't!

Just hope Ben survives too after the crap single

I hate to break it to everyone, but she will almost certainly be signed to Syco. So there won't be too much freedom, sadly.

Still, so so happy she made it to the final night of the show. Hands on heart, who would have predicted that ten weeks ago?

Fleur will win the war.

yeah me too was a bit disappointed when she didn't but now I'm a bit happier because she will have more control over any music she makes.

Exactly. Cowell will sign her and she will record what he picks - she will have no more say than Ben will.

Absolutely couldn't agree more

I totally agree with the OP, I was praying she didn't win as now we have the pleasure of hearing from her sooner than if she had won.

To win is a poisoned chalice. Most successful artists haven't won - Olly Murs, JLS, One Direction, Cher Lloyd for example. I am sure both Fleur and Ben will do well though

Its been apparent for weeks Cowell has plans for Fleur. No disrespect to Ben, but I think she'll be the one he provides the better promotion, songs, opportunities in the long run...

He's spotted a marketable opportunity in Fleur

That makes no sense. The music she's put out over the past few months, the music that's caused you to fall I love with her, is the music chosen and produced by Syco. It's all insipid, disposable pop music, no matter how 'hip' and 'rebellious' it's touted as.

All wong.

She will be the property of The Dark Lord and will have to do what she is told.

Yeah, me too. Hoping that her first single is a banger because that winner's single nothing great and not suited to her at all.

Trouble is she will, the final 3 three get signed to his label. Best is to get a place on the tour and get out of the show.

She has a great career ahead of her which is the most important thing.

Ben will ultimately go the same way as the other men's winners. Fleur I suspect will be a star for a good while.

The voting stats don't exactly back fleur for much of a future
