I'm a bit miffed but eh, I'd resigned myself to Ben winning after the leak yesterday and then the performances. Fleur still made this series worthwhile for me. Her journey was incredible to watch, and a win would've been a great way to top it off a la Little Mix, but runner up is a huge achievement for someone who was seen as fodder pre-lives.

I am hoping Fleur will sign to Leona's album Island (def jam).

I remember Matt Cardle and Joe McElderey fans gloating when they won, but where are they now.

anyhoo, Fleur did brilliantly throughout. the winner's song was definitely more suitable for Ben and I suppose looking at the weekly voting,it was fairly clear he had the public's support. Ben actually sang quite well in the final. not my cup of tea, but fair enough.

Tbh I feel kinda bad for Ben because he could potentially see Fleur over take him in the real competition, which is the real test. He won the battle but who will win the war?

Dissapionted for Fleur tonight, I thought she was better than Ben. I see her doing well after this though, Ben, I'm not so sure about. Nice guy, but no star quality on my opinion. I hope Fleur gets signed soon. She's been working so hard for 10 years.

I know where SC-Olly Murs and SC-1D were this evening. On a stage performing but no great vocal. Not one former XF act that could actually stand up and do an amazing vocal. We got Ella last night of course and the new winner Ben. They can hold a tune.

XF isnt the be all and end all, lots of them go on to success ONE D, Olly, JLS - itl work out for both of them.

The goal posts get changed every year to suit what Scowell wants. Nothing to do with battles. He ensures who succeeds. The winners usually sing better. Scowell dictates where the money is spent.
