I just don't get why people can't be happy for both of them. Does that make me really boring?

I knew, pretty much 100%, that Ben had this won before the weekend had even begun. So there's no horrible surprise element. It is what it is.

Ben and Fleur were easily the strongest contestants this year - neither of them ever were in the bottom 2, so it was clear cut for me. Ben isn't to my taste musically, but I wish him all the best.

Now onto the what we all want to know - the voting percentages.

Fleur's hardcore fans have been some of the most annoying, over-sensitive fans I've had the misfortune to come across in all the years I've been watching this show. The slightest criticism would cause them to go nuts. And no, I'm not a Ben fan either.

I cant believe how upset some folk get over a singing competition.

I don't see the point in all this. I'm a fan of Fleur but there is just no point in these fan wars. She was always going to get signed winner or not.

They're both winners imo. It pleases me to say that as I've not felt this way about a final two since Matt v Rebecca! It's about time we had at least a couple of acts who are potential winners acts rather than it being a foregone conclusion. Surely as a fan of the TV show you want it to be a more interesting competition? Especially considering that's all it is really- what happens here doesn't have THAT much baring on their career after the show..

I like Ben and Fleur From what I've witnessed a lot of people like them both. I am sick of hearing how Ben only appeals to middle aged women who don't buy music and are into conformity though
