Does anyone rember what week Andrea was gold sprayed-tanned - I'd be interested in how he scored then?

If there's going to be an ultra-bland but good-looking male artist in the competition, they're a safe bet to win, it seems. It happened in Matt's year and it's happened again this one. I'll be watching for such a type in next year's live shows and will be betting on them from show 1.

I like the way they do it on American idol
the judges get one "save" per series that they can use on an act who they think has potential but maybe just had a bad week and apart from that whoever is lowest in the vote gets eliminated makes the judges decision a bit more meaningful altho that probably wouldn't work on x factor because of the dual role of mentors and judges Then a few weeks later, Pia (one of the best singers in the whole competition) got eliminated but they couldn't save her cos they'd already wasted it on the bearded guy a few weeks back. |

The American Idol way is so dumb, I've only watched two series where they've had that 'save' rule, and in the second one they used it on a guy with a beard who was totally overrated and deserved to leave.
Then a few weeks later, Pia (one of the best singers in the whole competition) got eliminated but they couldn't save her cos they'd already wasted it on the bearded guy a few weeks back. all the while making sure that whoever they want is either saved or eliminated by taking it to deadlock when it suits them at least on AI they have to think carefully about when they use it and apart from that one time whoever finishes bottom of the vote will leave |

There's usually at least 4 of them in the Boys category ![]() Looks like Ben won fair and square according to these figures. The idea that someone in the lead from week 4 didn't win would cry fix to me. Well done Ben

Indeed, I posted them because I found it funny that Lord Sugar would get worked up over the x factor.

I just thought he embarrassed himself. Getting his knickers in a twist over the dull and really not that good Andrea not winning just showed himself up.

In your opinion, I don't know you but I'm pretty confident I know whose opinion I rate higher!
