I had only just recovered from Lauren going out last week and now they show us she was in the final if up to the public.

Although I preferred Andrea for the final that's really unfair on her. A sing off in the semi should not happen

Although it's very unlucky for her not to make the final I think Andrea was the right person to go through out of the 2 of them Lauren would have crumbled in that arena.

Knew all along she must have been up there. Glad the stats supported my ears. Fleur East consistently missed notes, Andrea no versatility. So without Lauren (who by the way could have handled the final) Ben had to win. Boring choice for debut single. It's like the factory machine of Mr George's crew of the 1980's all over again ...

I think Andrea would've made a better finalist anyway, but it's interesting to see that he was dead bottom twice and saved both times.

Yeah Lauren should of been in the Final Simon did that becuse he is scared of Lauren beating his 2 contestants

I actually think Lauren could have come 2nd if she was through. There wasn't much separating her and Fleur for the two weeks before the semi even, so if Fleur gave the same performances she did last night and Lauren was at the top of her game, she would have edged it I think. It's very likely she'd have just been 3rd like Andrea but you never know. I would have been so pissed if Fleur did end up even 2nd though!

I loved her and Andrea but I think she should have gone through. I know it's the sing-off but I like when the sing-off is abolished at the top 5.

I was honestly surprised they had a bottom 2 for the semi-final. I thought it was always the person with the least votes goes so that nobody knows the positions of the final 3.

It's a bit of a shame for her but she'll probably do better than most of the other finalists anyway.

They didn't want her at Wembley IMO because they needed more of a performer. As much as I like Lauren, I can't imagine her being able to pull off any of the duets that the other three did.

They were hardly gonna have Lauren duet with Ella when Ella would simply have blown her off the stage.

They would have given her an artist more suited to Lauren

I think Demi would have done the duet and Ella just given a normal performance slot

If she made the final she most likely would have come 3rd anyway,

Lauren will be the biggest of this series long term anyway, and she will never get the “I was last in a public vote” tag that most of them get.

Her mentor didn't appear to be bothered.

Don't feel sorry for her just keep supporting her, she was popular for being Lauren not some Cowell puppet like Fleur
