Shayne, Leona, Alexandra and Little Mix.
Basically every time the act I preferred in the final won, minus James Arthur (I did prefer him in his final considering who he was up against, but I never quite liked him).

Matt was my favourite, James Arthur I liked but he became a prize idiot after he won and Ben obviously
Looking at that list has made me realise how the ones I like never do well.
S1 - Wanted Steve but only because the rest were so dreadful.
S2 - Liked Andy but Shayne always had it after his Stars In Their Eyes JT impresonation
S3 - Robert was my favourite but he got shafted. Dull final but Leona definitely preferable to the eyes, teeth and jazz hands stage school brat Ray.
S4 - Rhydian was robbed
S5 - Wanted JLS but Alexandra was a great winner in the best ever final 2
S6 - Gave up watching as Olly Murs makes my teeth itch and Joe bored me rigid
S7 - Preferred Rebecca to Matt
S8 - Loved Mischa B and stopped caring after she left
S9 - James was the worthy winner but lost the plot after the show
S10 - Dull, predictable series. Only performances I liked in the whole series was Rough Copy September and Hit The Road Jack
S11 - Liked both Ben and Fleur all the way through

Voted Matt - surprised to see him topping the poll, especially as it's not reflected in the comments. Looks like we have a silent majority on here.
It's a bit early to be judging Ben.
I loved Matt Cardle on the show (the same way I feel about Ben now), but was disappointed by Matt's first album and never followed him after that.
Equally, I was disappointed with Leona's first album, but I liked it enough to buy her superior second album. Haven't followed her since though.

Leona. There's been some amazing voices on the show but there was something so rare about Leona, no one has touched her vocally on the show since and it was very endearing how humble and unaware she seemed of just how good she was.
Matt was my favourite winner 
Was a great final with Rebecca too.
Happy Ben won his year, he was my favourite this year.
None of the others have been my favourites but Little Mix and Leona were good winners and although I preferred Andy, Shayne's SOTR won it for him and he was a decent winner too.

Never really been a fan of any of the winners but Matt Cardle was amazing, James Arthur musically is fantastic as well, shame he has acted the way he has done since he won.
I voted Alexandra - she was the best ever on the show. My list from best to worst is:

Most of them were ok - it's not fair to say anyone was totally talentless, but I wasn't keen on Matt as I found his voice too whiney for my taste. Steve was ok at the time but looking back he was pretty generic, and poor Leon just wasn't cut out to be a performer, even though he wasn't a bad singer. Ben is ok - one of the better males but not as good as Shayne or Joe.

Surprised that you liked Misha B tbh....ur likes have been the opposite to mine...lost interest too....like I did on Sunday after Andrea went!!

Why would you be surprised? If you look at my musical taste in my posts I'm 100% soul, dance, hip hop and r&b and have been for over 30 years.
I thought it would be Leona or Alex (both great) - but I've gone for Little Mix.

My sentiments exactly. That was my favourite ever performance on X Factor.
Shayne should have been so much bigger than he was.
