You're just flaming now, is this the only way you get any attention in life?

Haha you're kidding right? Fluer was hands down the favourite to win, but there's no way to fix the votes which is the only reason she didn't.

We all know how the show works each year. It is so transparent.

I think she is intelligent and musical enough to have figured that out.”

All the nonsense on this forum for half the season about Fleur being "pimped", then they go and pick a winner's song far more suited to Ben and have him sing it first.
I was already fed up with it before she even started.
I don't think the show was fixed for Ben, but think he did benefit from the final choice of winner's song.

I think she might have had an inkling that Ben would win.
His reception in the arena seemed a lot louder and while that isn't necessarily indicative of how the voting will go, if I was Fleur I'd have listened to that and thought Ben was going to win.

I don't understand how anybody can think the winners song would make any difference at all to who won. It was sung what, ten minutes before the phone lines closed? People had been voting for over 24 hours by then, the winners single would have made not a bit of difference. They probably chose a song more suited to Ben because they knew it wouldn't make a difference by that point and considering he'd topped the votes what, 7 weeks in a row, they wanted a song that would sell when he won, because they knew he had it in the bag despite all the pimping Fluer had received.

I agree. Ben was streets ahead after the Saturday show and, as we now know, pretty much had it in the bag since week 4,

I think over the last 3-4 weeks, they've known him winning was inevitable and ensured that the winners song was right for him as they knew that would be the one that was released.

This basically. We were all assuming that the big push for Fleur in last three weeks was to make her win. Looking retrospectively at the voting it was more likely a push to get her to the final at Lauren's expense. Lauren and Fleur were very close in the voting and they preferred Fleur for the final instead of Lauren. They also voted Lauren out in the semi when she wasn't the bottom act. They mustn't have wanted two female acts in the final and Lauren wasn't the producers choice.
