Granted they were only actually bottom once when they were eliminated with 5.3% compared to Andrea at 2nd to bottom with 13.2%. Though as reminded below to me they did have only one night of voting there

But they missed the bottom two/three on 3 different occasions by just one spot. Were in the bottom 2 twice.

I'd hoped they had done better than that

Andrea had an extra night of voting that week though, on week 7, everyone else's voting %s are based on two voting windows while OTY's is only based on one.

This is true, so you can't really say for sure how close it was on Saturday night.

It is kind of a shame how they performed overall. Maybe if they'd given them stuff more along they lines of their youtube performances than going this 'fun factor' angle they might have performed a bit better, but oh well.

Probably because XF put them across in the style of some awful Glee tribute act. Plus at least one of them was constantly off key.

XF made them corny is the issue.
