I have found the whole situation with Mel incredibly strange. At deaths door on Saturday but back on the show sunday, however not well enough to appear on xtra factor, how does that work? Also, anyone else notice andrea barely mentioned anything about Mel being sick on Saturdays? She had no wedding ring on tonight and saw many tweets from people saying they spotted bruising on her face.., so odd. Really hope nothing has happened with her husband rumours flying around since those tweets with by sister. What is everyone's take on it?

I don't know what to make of it all. It did seem odd that she was in a high dependency unit at hospital last night yet felt well enough to attend a live tv show tonight?? That said, she did look quite tired and frail on the show tonight

She has seemed frail and distant to me. I noticed she had lots of marks on her skin and had quite a puffy face.

Well ................to be fair - it is a very public show - she is very much in the public eye - I guess people are gonna be curious and speculate aren't they?

I think people are only speculating on what is in the press. I think that's allowed isn't it? It's in the public domain - only commenting on newspaper articles and the like - it's what people do on here surely?

I'll echo what I've posted on another thread:
I really hope Mel gets the help she needs if these stories are correct. Domestic abuse is in my opinion the one of the worst crimes, you can rarely tell when the abuse is happening and often the manipulation is subtle at first. I'm so saddened about this. I felt it was strange on Saturday when Andrea avoided the fairly obvious 'get well soon line', I've read a couple of articles stating they were 'constantly texting' all throughout Saturday. I wonder if Andrea knew...he certainly had a determined forceful look in his eyes on that Saturday, 'I'm doing this for both of us' he said in one of the VTs.

Does anyone else think it an odd coincidence that her estranged mother's name is Andrea? I wonder if that made her feel even more connected to Andrea, sounds really strange to say it, but I think it was very important for both of them that they found each other.

I think you're overstretching things to be honest. It's x-factor - get real. The domestic abuse stories are nothing more than malicious rumours and should not be given the time of day. I think you are just reading things into a non-existent story to be honest.

Spectulate all you like...if it would make you feel better. ...its when certain things on here gets out of hand...and as its the papers that are bringing this out. ..and nothing has been as fact yet, I would take whatever been said with a pinch of salt!!

(My opinion of course)!!!

All I'll say is the number of times a woman has hooked up with a man who has a history of domestic abuse and thought he would never do it to them. A leopard doesn't changes its spots without some serious professional help.

Well if she was seriously ill on Sat, she certainly would'nt have been able to attend the final last night, so i guess it was a smoke screen set up .

According to Dan Wooton his latest BREAKING NEWS Tweet is that Mel has left her husband after a series of rows !!!!! Could be something to this one.

PS looks like the story is gathering speed. More papers have it now !!
