What is she up to?

I know she had a Christmas single next year and maybe a Christmas album?

I'm not sure why they didn't let her release another non-christmas album?

She has an amazing voice but doesn't seem to have been allowed to showcase it for years now

Leona left Syco earlier this year and signed a new worldwide recording contract with Universal's Island Records. She was offered a new deal from Simon but looked elsewhere due to how unhappy she was at the label. Recently she explained that she was told to sit and wait until Simon called her before she could start her fifth album.

The new album is 90% complete and in a few days time an in depth behind the scenes video will be released. The lead single is rumoured to premiere in January

She released a Christmas album Christmas With Love last year which sold 110k and One More Sleep (lead single) which sold 130k (should be more this year).

She has left Syco in June/July I think and is now signed to Island Records. She's been in the studio non stop and have been working with amazing writers such as Diane Warren, Toby Gad, etc... It should be out early next year.

A behind the scenes video should be online this month normally where we'll get to see Leona working/recording in the studio

Will be interesting to see if her material is different now she is signed with Island records.

She should be releasing a single in the next couple of months.
