This may well have been discussed already, but I just wanted to say how pleased I am that Harrods pet shop has closed.

I went there three years ago and was upset to see puppies for sale in glass cages.

I can remember the days when Harrods could get you any animal you wanted, even wild ones. Their pet shop was like a menagerie. Remember seeing a small spotted wild cat there, can't remember what it was. Back in late 60s early 70s people were fascinated by harrods pet shop. I have to admit visiting it many times back then. Of course now we know better - or should do.

I agree times change we learn more but back then it was fascinating to wander around.

Do you remember that TV programme about Christian the lion cub. It is also on YouTube. He was bought at Harrods! Mind boggling!
