Stevie Ritchie & Chloe J knew but were willing gameplayers for Cowell.

Steph has tweeted several times about her treatment. She probably got sweet talked into doing the show thinking she would be treated favourably.

Lauren seemed to become more aware as the show went on and increasingly stressed out by it all until the semis.

Andrea probably realised when they painted him in gold and gave him horns.

If all these guys knew they must have discussed it between themselves at some point.”

You're right. But I really believe the route for Andrea is obvious, Sam Smith/ Will Young/ Adele type stuff, you don't need to write your own material to make it as Sam Smith has. He does need some really beautiful songs to show off his voice though. I'm really confident that he will do well. He's very charismatic, he completely stole the show on Chatty Man. Being good at interviews and PR is a big advantage, I believe Alan Carr tweeted him to say come back anytime.

andrea basically can't go down the sam smith route unless he is also capable of writing award winning material for himself”

I meant in terms of the songs he sings the sort of material he has the the ballads.

the point still is if he wasn't writing is own songs and they weren't good quality he probably wouldn't have made it based on his looks or voice alone

so saying that because andrea could make it because he is similar in style to sam smith still misses the point of why sam smith made it in the first place

I think Andrea's best bet would be if a credible song writer wants to pair up with him and they form a partnership, like Robbie Williams and Jonathan Wilkes.

He needs to be signed to a good management team first

I wonder if that will actually happen.

Some people use that method to get rid of problems...it works, but just beware of the consequences..

What on earth does that mean? I've seen loads of unnecessary Andrea hate here, but posting a joke about shooting him? Bit far tbh.

Lighten up...its not like I'm gonna do it...its a joke...first of all, I didn't say shoot at all...and if I could shoot an act...Andrea would not be my choice anyways ..there are TONS of acts I dislike much more... I guess my humor is too dark for people and gets me in trouble...

Yes I did watch properly and IMO she didn't go nowhere far enough she was too busy going on how Fleur was fantastic etc. etc.

Exactly that is what I was trying to say.

He's never going to be the world's best looking bloke, but if he was styled normally he wouldn't stand out either. Get rid of the deliberate distractions and you're just left with a nice guy with a great voice.

I bet the poor guy really regrets wearing that pugs jumper to the X Factor audition!”

Actually if you look on youtube, you will see old videos of Andrea without the beard and I am telling you he is one gorgeous looking young man. That beard should have been shaved off at the beginning of the live shows.

I sometimes wonder if men grow beards if they feel a bit insecure - like it gives them something to hide behind?

Beards seem quite fashionable at the moment and I really don't like them. Most of the under 30's in work have full beards much of the time and it makes them look so much older

I watch a lot of American sport and in baseball in particular a full beard has become a real trend , talking about grizzly adams style beards as well

Luckily, Simon has said in the press that he won't be signing Andrea, so at least we don't have to worry about that! Hopefully his image hasn't been damaged too much by all the snide comments on the show, together with all the 'boring' song choices - which, of course, were given to him by the X Factor - do people really believe that the contestants choose their own songs?

At the beginning of the process, Andrea said in interview that his favourite artists to sing were Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson, so maybe he'll go in that direction. He has a nice grit to his voice that we didn't see as much of as I would have liked. He also said his favourite week on the show was big band week, so maybe he could be another Michael Buble? He could even do some classical/cross-over type stuff. He has a lot of options.

Like the article says, let's hope he gets signed by someone who is prepared to work with him and develop him. He is only 20, so there's plenty of time! Good luck to him ”

The world certainly doesn't need another Michael Buble`.

He said in an interview that he didn't want his beard shaved off because it hides his double chin ...

Andrea needs to wait. I'd wait until after the NEXT series of X Factor and come back January 2016 with a killer first single, in the vein of Sam Smith / male Adele. Get on to Ryan Tedder, Sia, Eg White, Ed Sheeran - anyone who can write and produce a killer pop song and get it for him. Maybe even get him singing on a dance track a few months before to remind people he still exists. No covers, especially not of Mariah, Whitney, Beyonce and for goodness sake nothing in Italian or about food.

First thing he needs to do is get a different stylist ,one that doesn't make him look 40 when he`s only 20 , he also needs to get his teeth fixed and shave off that beard . Because at the moment the X. factor is about the whole package and I think Andrea lacks in that department . I always think " would young girls have photos of him on their bedroom wall ?" and whereas I think they would of Ben, I cant see them doing the same for Andrea. He`s a good singer but more suited to the West End and Royal Albert Hall , he`s not a pop singer in my opinion and maybe he would have been better going on BGT like Paul Potts and Susan Boyle

In that case he should stop cutting in a stupid neckline in his beard which makes his chin look even bigger. Ben went for the more natural look in his stubble which looked a lot better. Andrea's perfectly groomed line just looked stupid.

Oh and beards are all the rage with men at the minute as they look good and save valuable time scraping a blade over your face every day.
