Any chance we can stop X Factor having Christmas Number 1?

Because it was rush released due to Fleur Easts performance, therefor an X Factor performance would have stopped the X Factor from claiming the Xmas No. 1.

To be fair, it would be nice to have a Christmas #1 that isn't an X Factor single or Charity single (or a campaigned single in the case of RATM). Just a regular song that got released regularly like most regular songs.

I don't usually download but i'm so determined for this to happen that I used some of my credit to download Uptown Funk last night

Uptown Funk is IMO one of her best tracks of the year. I just love it! Plus if it manages to keep off X Factor all the better!

However... yesterday X Factor was about 25k ahead, and today he is just over 30k ahead, so it's not looking particularly likely

T'would be far more funny if The Wealdstone Raider got the Xmas #1. He's already #3 oniTunes and closing in on smug Ronson and Joe Mcelderry 2... And it is for charity...

Uptown Funk has predictably now overtaken Bae Haenow on iTunes and is starting to pull ahead.

Will be interesting to see what type of sales lead Uptown Funk has come Saturday night. Plus, Mark & Bruno are going to benefit from stream sales it's #1 on Spotify and 2 million stream this week will equal 20k download sales which could be the difference.

I'll be interested in seeing how much the gap narrows in tomorrow's midweek sales. 33k behind up to Tuesday night - overtakes on iTunes early hours of this morning. Uptown Funk therefore has 3 days (including today) to make up the 33k defecit.
