Who Did The Judges/Presenters "Pick" To Win
RabidWolverine1
15-12-2014
I forgot to ask yesterday because I didn't watch the X Factor. How they all predict winners at Boot Camp or something....who did Dermot/SJC/Simon/Cheryl/Mel/Louis predict?

Did anyone get Ben right?

Nobody picked Ben. Simon had stereokicks.

No one picked either Ben or Fleur and most went for Stereo Kicks - which explains the pimping

Thanks again

Wow, never understood any StereoKicks hype at that stage. I thought they were just put through to Judges Houses because it would look bad if they put 2 groups together and neither make it to the next stage.

I thought it took StereoKicks a while to start fitting in.

Id most agree with Mel or Dermott here...I thought Lola would do better than she did.

Would have picked Paul though

And yet Lola was his pick for wildcard. Hmm, that doesn't sound at all like he had no say in it does it?

The predictions were made at bootcamp. Didn't she make it to judges houses?

During the same stage of the competition (bootcamp), I would have put down Paul or Lola. I only started believing a little bit that Andrea could make it from the moment he sang Earth Song in W1. As soon as the lives started, that's when I believed Lola had no chance anymore. She cracked majorly.

So my predictions, look how odd they look...

After Auditions- Jake (based on the reason that his audition went viral) or Paul
After Bootcamp- Paul or Lola
After JH- Paul
Week 1 and 2- Andrea or Lauren
Week 3-8- Fleur
Semi final onwards- Fleur or Ben

She did but the other judges at least managed to pick someone who made it to the live shows. Shows you how good Louis's acumen is. I personally liked Kerrianne and wish she'd made it to the lives.

She was by far the best girl in it this year. I was shocked Cheryl didn't pick her ans the edit made it obvious that Lola was going to get the WC. Such a shame but I think she's signed now anyway

Problem is in these image concious times, she just didn't have the right look for XF.

Well she did like to show off those ample thighs of hers but I wasn't complaining! But really, after Sam Bailey's win I don't think the world is as nasty as you make out.

But Sam Bailey hasn't exactly set the world on fire has she and I do think her being older and being a mum means her image was based firmly towards mums of her own age and older. Kerrianne being a young girl probably needed to appeal to the younger market which is far more image concious imo.

It's not right but look what happened to Jessy in Little Mix. The comments about her looks and size were dreadful but she's allowed herself to be part of the machine and lost the weight she said she wasn't going to

I'm sure you have a point but i'd like to think the world is becoming a little more accepting towards people who aren't a size zero. As for Jessy, she seems to yo-yo to me. I mean, she looked very thin at one point but now looks back to how she used to look when I saw her on some awards on TV recently. And Ella Henderson isn't scrawny by any means but she's doing alright for herself.

They clearly didn't get it where Stereo Kicks were concerned.
