Posts in this thread really show what is wrong with the show. Anyone a bit different doesn't stand a bloody chance on X Factor. She's not rubbish at all. She was in a talent show for 2 weeks, given crap song choices and ridiucled by the judges, and from that everyone concludes that she's rubbish. I mean, if X Factor says she's rubbish then she must be rubbish!! Seriously, come on! She was let down because they didn't have a clue what on earth to do with her. Anyone who is different, a bit unique, interesting, has a bit of spark...the show just wipes them out.

I thought she had the weakest voice of all the girls. Listen to the final 16's song last night. Her voice sounds quite babyish - it's not a nice tone IMO. Lauren has a much much more pleasant voice to listen to. I think Kerrianne and Emily also had better voices.

If the show had got behind her definitely I wasn't a fan of the reggae thing she was given though, I don't think Steph was particularly keen either

sorry but she had one of the weakest voices ever , she made abi alton from last year look like a power ballad singer

I have heard people running their nails down a blackboard that sounded more pleasant than listening to her sing

This post sums up the typical XF viewer.

I thought she was over rated if anything.

I found her voice very child-like and also quite weak.
She seemd nice enough, but not my cup of tea.

Quite strong feelings there. Do you really hate her more than Overload Generation who were quite honestly horrific in their sing off?

The only way she'll make it big, is if she gets a role in the next series of 'Supersize Me'

In the final when she had her solo she stole the show. Maybe she should audition again next year ?”

How on earth were Stephanie and Andrea similar

Is this thread a wind up

A bit of spark? That's the one thing I felt she didn't have.

She had a better voice than she was given credit for, but she was too nervous and bland to make any impression. And Cheryl can't be blamed for that.

Was she the one caught peeing outside Marks & Spencers? Her YouTube covers are quite nice but she wasn't made for the big stage, at least not as a soloist. She seemed lost, and her voice was weak. I can see her doing well as a very niche artist, but she has a lot of work to do first.

Peeing outside M&S, bullying allegations from ex-schoolmates - even her Lorraine interview was interrupted by a fire alarm. Didn't have the best of luck on the show, poor Steph

Still think her voice would sound amazing on a dance track...she needs a dj to reach out to her.

If she went into reggae, say like Hollie Cook, i think that she could do pretty well.

Steph was treated really unfairly in my opinion. I loved all her auditions and loved them - she was so calming and captivating but as soon as I saw that she was billed as "unemployed" as the tag under her name I knew she wouldn't be going far. She was heavily rumoured to be going through to the live shows but I am amazed she got as far as week two. We'd seen all of thirty seconds of her in screen time before she went into the live shows, she was used as the catapult for Lola not going through into the live shows so most people automatically hated her because of that. Add to that her being given one relatively unknown reggae-lite song with bad staging and her first week in the bottom two was no surprise. Week two, she was given a popular song but in a similar arrangement to week one, followed straight away by Andrea who caused everyone to forget her especially as he used the same setpieces as her but in a more appealing way. After all this, she was out straight away and Simon even had the cheek to say "Steph didn't believe she could win" - I wonder why after all of that?!?! Add to that the leaked bullying stories and you have a recipe for disaster.

Poor thing. She should have stayed with Luminites, she was so likeable with them and they were a great band. I do think she has a chance to be successful but it will be hard for her to be taken seriously after this stint.
