I am sure it will be a popular spectacle. It will cost a lot of money to go as well.

She should do something like the Reinvention Tour setlist and do at least one song from every one of her albums, but a stadium tour. Although as she's contracted to Live Nation until 60 I would be prepared to wait for one more album tour then a final greatest hits tour!

I hope I can get tickets to this. I went to her last tour and she puts on a great show.

I wonder if the tour will begin in April like the Virgin Tour did back in '85? Or if it's just going to be next year sometime.

I wish she would do a greatest hits tour but I don't think we will ever get one from her. Re-Invention was probably the closest thing.

The concerts are scheduled for 2015 but Madonna won't be on stage until 2016.

I would like to see anniversary editions of her albums as well. In the same vein as MJ did with Thriller and Bad.

Her virgin tour is also still one of her three tours yet to make it to DVD.

Her label should cash in big time. They never bothered when it was her 30th anniversary of her debut back in 2013.

When do you think tickets will go on sale?

Madonna will tour the album but I have a feeling Europe will be part 2 of the tour in spring/summer 2016.

If the album comes out March/April I think some promo concerts in the usual places New York, London and Paris will happen. I also hope she does proper promo this time. If she does promo the tour rehearsals might not start till June. Possible opening night in the US as the last 2 tours have opened in Europe around September. North American September-December, a few dates in Central/South America in mid December. A 6-8 week break and part 2 starts Australia and Asia then moves to Europe late April-July.

I have no inside knowledge and I am possibly completely wrong but I just think the time lines for the album do not fit a Europe tour in 2015 also as Guy now manages U2 and they are touring for most of 2015 I think that will also delay a Madonna tour.

I do hope I'm wrong or it will be a expensive visit probably to one of the New York dates to see the tour.

If this happened I would be their in a second! I saw her live on MDNA but unfortunately were sat right at the back and could barley see the stage let along the women herself. Still loved every second though.

Next time she needs to promote the album first though. She totally messed up last time. She was singing loads of MDNA tracks (fair enough, it's the MDNA tour) but nobody apart from the die-hard fans knew them. Obviously these die-hard fans got decent seats at the front, so I was sat among a thousand people who knew less than 75% of the songs.

Well seen as thought a tour hasn't even been officially announced, i'm guessing they aren't imminent. Aside from that Mirror article I haven't read or seen a single other story about this.

Usually she tours in the summer and early fall so I assume the tour will be then. I think she would like to bundle the tickets with the album to get a higher chart position and figures like she did before, so I assume the tickets will go on sale when the album is released probably in March.

Fans are always screaming for promo and I would like her to do promo just because I like reading interviews with her because I find her an interesting personality with a lot to say. But I think people are naive if they think promo will automatically lead to big hits like she had in the 80's and 90's. Radio just doesn't want to play songs by people over a certain age no matter how much promo they do. The thing is with Madonna she is such a great performer with so much spectacle to her shows and so much energy and passion to what she does, that it doesn't really matter so much if you don't know every song. You still have a great time. So I really don't think doing promo or having a huge hit song or album is as crucial as some fans seem to think. She still will be one of the highest grossing touring acts.

Hopefully she will play more old songs the way they were meant to be not her crappy reowrked versions if she doesnt what the point of basing the tour around Virgin 30?

It would be a nice change of pace from her usual tours where she plays 80% of her latest release (that no one in the crowd has bough except for die hards)

I don't think her tour is based around the fact that it's been 30 years since Like A Virgin. That's just the paper saying that it has been 30 years since her first tour. I think it would be boring if she just played them like the original versions, plus a lot of the songs would sound dated now if she did them that way now.
What's the point of her making a new album if she doesn't sing the new songs? And I don't think it's 80% new stuff, it's more like 60/40.

I bought the Virgin Tour Live video when it came out and I still have it today. I'm amazed it hasn't disintergrated by now, lol. I wish they would release it and her other vhs-only tours on DVD. I went to her Girlie Show tour at Wembley Stadium in 1993 (my fave Madonna tour) and was halfway down the pitch so didn't see her very close up at all. I went to her MDNA tour at Birmingham NIA and when she was at the end of the runway she was within touching distance! It was amazing! I'd love to see her again (I've been a Madonna fan since late 1983/early '84 when Holiday was first released) even though I hate stadium tours and usually avoid them (the NIA was such a blessing) but for Madonna I make the exception! She's the best, a true icon.

The album will be brought out early now. Half of its just leaked in the last 2 hours, we will probably have it all soon. (well 2 full and 4 snippets) All are amazing and she will be smashing plates when she wakes up. I expect her to start tour rehearsals in Jan as usual once she back from skiing with the kids.

I feel for her but people are too hungry.

I do hope she gets the old tambourine out but the new album sounds just amazing.

I've been fortunate to see Madonna 5 times - the Girlie Show, Reinvention, Confessions, Sticky & Sweet and MDNA tours. I was at the Cardiff show for the Sticky & Sweet tour too.

I'll be keen to see her again because the shows are always spectacular.
The Reinvention Tour would ultimately be my favourite though because she did quite a few from the back catalogue, as was the case with Sticky & Sweet too although not to the extent of Reinvention. I liked both the American Life and Hard Candy albums too.

Madonna for me is the greatest performer of all time. Male or Female

She could just put her big toe on the stage for every show and it would still be best show ever.
