LG G3 Andoid 5.0 update
I have just had the update pushed to my G3, the update is ok but if anything the device is slightly more laggy than before.
The thing that annoys me more than anything else is that 4G switcher no longer works, so I can't force my phone to use (or not use) 4G any more. There's no option to select this from the menu either. Why do manufacturers do this aghhhhh, does anyone know of any apps that will work to select 4G, or any menu codes. I wish I hadn't updated now. |

Jabbamk1, come on help! you'll know...
*#*#4636#*#* no longer works either, it says "this application does not work on this device" Well it bloody did, i'd downgrade because of this as I like manually selecting 4G to see what the coverage is like. How can I downgrade or fix this, I gave Samsung the boot for locking out settings like this, it annoys the hell out of me. |

Where's Jabbamk1 when you want him!!!!!! grrrr
Don't worry I've found it... 3845#*855# and then you go LTE Only -> Modem settings -> RAT Selection and then you can select the full list. You can also do LTE band selection! but I'm not messing too much in that menu. |

Above method works for disabling 2G / GSM as well.
