You forgot 'any girl with nice legs'. Not that I would ever do that, obviously, as it's way too superficial and chauvinstic.

What,in a Strictly context,are "nice legs"?

Shit, no. Nobody would want to be my twin. I'm horrible.

In a nutshell, who I enjoy watching the most. That can be due to brilliant dancing, entertaining routines or comedy value, although as it gets to the 'business end' of the competition I'm far less inclined to vote for the joke acts.

Personality does come into it to an extent but it enhances those I enjoy (e.g. Jake, Pixie, Tim) - if I really disliked someone it would put me off voting I suppose but I tend to find the good people pretty decent on the whole.

The whole 'journey' thing doesn't really bother me at all, I just want to be entertained! Likewise whether I know of someone before they do the show is largely irrelevant.

Well, obviously not Pixie's. They're too straight. Just ask Craig.

I think I'll stick with 'nice legs' if it's all the same to you? It's easier to type. And my vocab is pretty limited being a thick northerner.

I thought nobody would top Frankie's legs but after a minute I was bored of seeing them. Pixie's legs pop. I like it when she kicks high and I can see her.. extension.

Watching Kara and Artem, for me one of the best partnerships ever on SCD . They fulfill the first six of your requirements .

Just to add, looking for partnerships as good as K&A like Jill and Darren, Mark and Karen etc etc

Apologies for almost ruining your thread TTN. Sensible answers from now on folks.

Except you're spot on about Flackers' legs.

A couple who get on.
A celeb who tries, regardless of how good or bad they are.
A celeb who throws themselves into the experience and doesn't behave like a diva.
A pro who makes the most of their celeb's skills and hides their weaknesses.
A pro who looks out for and protects their celeb.
A celeb who isn't brilliant all the way from day one but who has ups and downs.
A pro who accepts that you can't always have a contender, and do the best they can with a duffer.

I don't need to have known have them before, I want to be entranced by them in the competition. ( i may moan about the celeb list not being known at the start, as I did this year but ultimately it doesn't matter)

The first three are important, after that it gets a bit nebulous.

Evoking the collective outrage of the forum always gets a vote from me though, its no mean feat to be able to annoy so many without actually doing anything much to deserve it...

Someone who can dance or has potential ... someone who I like and who doesn't get 'on me nerves' and a good partnership.

Also .. whilst they must be up for the fight .. too much ambition/competitiveness puts me right off and previous knowledge of them can go for or against them.
