Loved this series. No Bruce. Claudia and some Zoe. Great mix of celebs. The right celeb went out first. The duffers have been entertaining. Some shocks but not too many. No-one had to pull out. No divas, ditherers or idlers. Good selection of finalists.

I've enjoyed it this year. Although I did not know who the so-called celebs were!! I have got to know them and enjoyed the series. The music was a bit iffy at times and I think ITT has deteriorated, lately all we get is non-funny videos, silly items like the Quiz, I didn't like the young dancers, the little girl had tons of make up on as they prattled on about dancing!!

I have to disagree. The musical choices are sometimes as bad as they have been in previous series and this is not the first year we have had too many themes and props.But for me, there have been more celebs dancing to a better standard than is normal, which has made it more watchable leading up to the final.

The only thing they need to do is stop having Lisa Riley turning up every year, although I hope they don't start giving us Alison Hammond as a replacement.

I think the celebs they chose for this series have been excellent. Any one of those still left in the competition could win, and Pixie and Jake, who have only just left, were great too. Even further back, Sunetra was pretty good. It's been weeks since there were any of the poorer dancers left.

I agree and if this year's dancers were dancing under the conditions of the earlier series, I think it would have been as good as Series 5 or 6.

I think the reasons why this year was not as good as back then are -

1. The short time before and during the series the couples train
2. The pros no longer choose the music
3. The judges no longer apply the same rules for each of the dances
4. The producers interfere far too much in an effort to create an exciting show.

Otherwise, I think the band is great, Tess and Claudia are good partners and the costumes have been pretty good too.

Totally agree, I don't remember it being this excruciatingly bad for years.

Crap new pros, that make you miss past excellent pros, terrible music, tacky godawful props, I can't bear Tess and Claudia together, two women just does not work at all. So sick of Bruno's schtick.

The music is a massive, massive problem. And everything else the producers have introduced to make it better have made it worse. From the embarrassing staged VTS (don't *ever* ask non actors to say lines - never works). To the tacky props, to tacky theme nights.

And the things that the audience are genuinely sick of like Len and Bruno and Tess, they don't change!

We've lost some excellent pros and gained some not very good ones. I don't remember the pros ever being this crap before actually. (Certain pros excepted).
